Riot's next champion?

So imma go back in time a little, riot releases Braum ( support) then gnar comes out (top laner), then we have Azir ( mid laner), kalista comes next (adc) then Rek'Sai ( jungler), and no comes Bard, who looks like a support( i am sure people can play him in other lanes too but it seems he is a support).

Is it safe to assume the next champion will be a top laner or a mid laner. That is what the path shows.

I personally hope it is a mid laner that comes to counter LB, katarina, yasuo, maybe zed too. A middlaner that after the redicilous kassadin nerfs, could bring some life back to mid lane.

If it's a top laner it should be some champion that can do dome decent meele dmg as bruisers seem to be gaing alot of space in lol. I find it a nightmare to fight agains a fed irrelia. I think an anti- bruiser top laner would fit the game composition right now.

Another possibility is a top laner who is a mage, kinda like ryze who could potentially play in mid to counter katarina , akali, lb, yasuo.
