1 word, FAIRNESS, that is why solo queue needs to come back because lets face it, a team of 5 solo queue players, going against a trio OR MORE on voice chat, OBVIOUSLY the coordination alone will win with that.
Not to mention the match making system is unbalanced as is, ranks against higher ranks for example, bronzes go against silvers and golds, silvers go against golds and diamonds and sometimes higher, add this into premades, and it just becomes a endless equation of anger when you get turret dived at level 3 by a trio like it's the LCS.
And now with clubs, it's easier than ever to actually tell if its a trio or not, people try and defend the matchmaking and say " you don't really know if they are a trio or not" now i can officially call bullshit, and point at the club tags.
I know riot wants a more social league, but destroying solo queue was not the way to achieve that.
I LOVE DYNAMIC QUEUE, i hate the match making system that is tied into it, they are 2 completely separate things. I also hate how not only did they get rid of solo queue in this huge change, but Team Builder aswell. Now, i know Team Builder was just a stepping stone and was never meant to be permanent, BUT i believe they could of left it as was by itself. It would be nice to have more options to queue up.
And i personally never had long queues in Team Builder, and having that option to get the EXACT lane and EXACT champion i wanted, WAS FANTASTIC, and quite honestly worth the extra couple minutes of a wait, PLUS, i still end up waiting 10 minutes with this Dynamic Queue, so they can't use queue times as an excuse for completely getting rid of Team Builder. I mean plus, when you try to practice a specific role, and champ, you want to consistently be able to practice that, not leave it to a 50/50 chance of getting the lane you want.
To be able to choose if you solo queue, or premade queue, or Team Builder queue would be fantastic. And this Radio silence on the subject by Riot is not acceptable, its been weeks since that Q&A where solo queue was one of the most brought up questions, and they simply said "we understand radio silence is not acceptable just be patient". And here we are still being patient months later of the introduction of Dynamic Queue, and still not one word of solo queue has been said.
I refuse to play any more ranked until it's back, which basically makes me only play a match or so a day, if that, i'm not keen on the idea of having to suffer 20 minutes and lose LP on a guaranteed loss because i get matched with all solo queues against a premade who are clearly taking the match way more serious than the rest of us.
Please Riot... listen to the community for once in a long time, solo queue is way over due, and it is not acceptable to expect people to be okay with leaving their matches to chance.
