Question about Wit's End and the Current Abyssal Scepter.

Scenario: If I have both items and I'm attacking a target with 25 mr. Is the MR steal from item 3091 calculated after the MR reduction of item 3001 dissallowing me to take their mr below zero or does the steal go off the full 5 hits, taking them from 5 (due to reduc.) to 0/-5/-10/-15/-20 respectfully as if the Abyssal Scepter is feeding the Wit's End the mr it reduced and instead reduces the mr below 0 perodically because of the 2 interactions.

I found this quote from 2010 from a senior member on the boards...so im not 100% sure if it still rings true today. I would have to imagine it does though. "Resistances can only be dropped below 0 by reduction, not penetration. The problem is, reduction is applied before any penetration, so it is very difficult to reduce anyone's resistance below 0."
