Im turning the tables on you, junglers
NOTE: Aimed at folks in my division and probably lower (low gold>)
Especially you Sated ones. I get that ganking isn't easy. Honestly I freaking hate it myself. I get that we can be very demanding, and for that I apologise. But if the Rengar on the other team has managed to create 4 kills before hes even level 6..... What's your excuse?
"It's not the jungler's job to win lane for you" true. "Dealing with getting ganked is your responsibility" yikes...bit cold but...OK but does the combination of those two mean that: "I am not responsible for the enemy jungler"? No. Imagine you were in a lane with your jungler. What youre just going to keep csing while he roams bot, gets 2 assists and dragon? youre going to tell mid: "Oh hang on, once i complete my tear and roa stacking, I'll come help you."
Now the reason this annoys me and why I expect its especially prevalent on dev junglers, is you frankly embarass yourselves for the most part. If you fall behind of your team falls behind, all hell breaks out and you run around like a headless chicken completely clueless as to how to play now that you cant farm your jungle because the enemy Lee Sin already helped knock down 4 turrets and went with the support right through to light up your camps like christmas trees. I get the feeling you forget that the other team aren't bots more easily than the laners because you dont have the other jungler in your face 7/11
And before any of you so much as think of giving me any shit. Look at my match history, the recent yasuo one and the aatrox one. The former saw Xin Zhao give up at 3 minutes cos lee sin got a kill on him level 2. The only time he helped a lane was a response to our garen coming mid (you know, the guy with 1 less knock up and gap closer than him?), to which his help was near non-existant. Now it's not to say that was the reason we lost, but by god it was pathetic. It sounds cruel but it really was, theres no other way to describe it.
The latter is myself playing sated aatrox. I helped fizz in mid, killing annie near solo (fizz in fact got no assist) From there I can't remember specifics, i know I'd helped with at least 1 more kill before i bought devourer, but the gank on annie had helped fizz enough that he was fine on his own. But heres the kicker. It wasn't that hard. I made my early plays based primarily on 2 things: where rengar was, who was pushed up. (Fizz pinged for the annie gank so I did it at level 3, it cost me my flash but he didn't end up 0/7 because of it) Rengar jumped on bot and scored a double i think at a point, and it was either a coincidence, or he went in because I showed top. Instead of telling my bot lane: "pls dont feed rengar" (because in all likelihood it was probably my fault for showing top while bot was pushed with no vision on rengar)
Let me tell you counterganking isn't hard. You can read where hte other jungler will gank a solid 7/10 times by looking at your laners (whos pushed up, who has no escapes, whos playing something everyone wants to see dead
), and by just sitting mid (gank central).
If you magically wind up in a situation whre your laners are all 4/0 by 9 minutes, then sure, afk farm, chances are only 2 or 3 of you will even be needed to win the game, but if that isn't the case, DON'T. DO IT.
As a closing remark, and a way to make sure you truly get it: You and 4 friends are in a 7 seater car. You end up in the back seat so everyone has their own space, but only you have a seatbelt cos the rest dont work. The car crashes from the front and all 4 of your friends are injured because they had no seatbelts. Are you going to sit there eating your packet of chips all like: not my fault you were thrown through the windscreen by physics?
