Low priority queue needs fixing

So I was placed in a low priority queue because my power went off during a storm. By the time I came back on, (15 mins) the game was over and I was reported as AFK. OK...whatever. I was then put into low priority queue, and have to wait 10 mins before matches.

Wanna know the REAL kicker though? I group up with some friends, we do a draft game. One of my friends fails to click the join button once the 10 mins is FINALLY up and we can play. We get kicked back to the lobby and guess what...... have to wait 10 goddamn minutes again.

Really Riot? First I was punished for something completely outside of my control. Second, my FRIENDS are punished, cause now they have to wait 10 mins, and they are punished further because they can't wait another 10 mins because someone was getting a drink, and now have to play with r%%%%%ed randoms.

You also can't talk to your friends during this time. You have a Leave Queue option, and that's about it. God forbid I wanted to chat and talk about positions and champs to use.

If you were punished, and believe it is something you could not have any control over (i.e power cutting out), submit a ticket to Riot explaining to them how you feel you were wrongfully punished. Riot does have a heart (somewhere), I'm sure they'd understand or at least explain why they can't un-punish you.

As for the low-priority, it is fine. Better than getting banned. It is meant to be a punishment with no loop-holes. It won't stop punishing you just so you can have a quick match with the mates. It is suppose to make people who rage quit/troll afk feel like complete shit, while also keeping people with bad internet from connecting without them knowing their internet is poor.
