Most players who love winning ARAM make a separate account for it

Just sayin'. The game is balanced around Summoner's Rift, with minimal effort put into Threes, ARAM, and Dominion.

Unfortunately, that means that if you don't like actually getting random champions in ARAM, then you have to remove that aspect of the game by making a separate account where you only own the 20 you want to use, and reroll when you get a free week champion.

And the Three's viable champion pool is even smaller than the ~40 you see pros play.

I personally don't care. Just letting you know that if that's the game you wanna play, you'll need two accounts.

I repeat: THIS IS ONLY THE CASE FOR THOSE PLAYERS WHO WANT TO LIMIT THE CHAMPIONS THEY PLAY IN ARAM, like the "I love junglers" poster. There is nothing at all in this post about being mad at ARAM smurfs.

Personally, I wish more people would make aram smurfs instead of smurfs to boost their friends to gold.

Hi DeceasedLovedOne, I've been playing league since August of 2010 on the same account.

I've owned all champions since 2011 and love to play ARAM. My current w/l is 854W 804L

Am I proof?

Proof of what, exactly?

All I've said is that IF a player wants to remove the completely random aspect, then they'll need to make a separate account with fewer champions.

Re-read the OP and click the link to see why I felt like making the thread at all. This has nothing to do with smurfs being unbalanced or champions being unplayable in ARAM. This is just about someone else feeling like Junglers aren't playable in a mode where you know you won't always get your preferred champ unless you only own your preferred champs.

I'm not sure what you were after proof of in the first place.

Your title isn't inaccurate at all, I'm sure a high percentage of players that enjoy only ARAM do have tailored for ARAM accounts so they're guaranteed favorable matches each time they queue. My post was to highlight that not all fervent ARAM players operate accordingly, I suppose.

I wasn't aiming to demean you in any way, shape, or form - I was merely sharing my own personal information that I felt was relevant to your post.

I never said most ARAM players do it. Only the ones that put winning above anything else.

The other statement isn't 100% inaccurate. Probably 50%, since it's double what you need if you plan on never actually playing the other game modes. Albeit you could also play those game modes with only champions that are also good in ARAM.

This is an odd statement to me, I assure you I put winning above all else when I engage in any competitive activity. Be it a video game or putting in extra hours to earn a promotion over my colleague, everything is winnable to me and I actively strive to win as much as I can. I'm pretty sure most human beings would say the same of themselves if asked.

So I'd just like to ask - does the fact that I own all champions and enjoy spamming ARAM mean that I don't put winning above anything else?

The problem is that you're putting it as a priority only AFTER the game has already started.

I never said that was the case.

People who put winning above everything else means people who do it starting before champion select even begins.

So yes, yes it does. You're claiming to put winning above owning every champion, but that's a lie.

And playing ARAM a lot is not the same as playing solely ARAM.

No one said I cared whether or not I win at ARAM. It's a thread to let people who do know that they won't get to if they rely on rerolls alone to weed out the bad picks they'll get from owning every champion.

Does anyone actually give a fuck? It's not like there's a ranked ladder or any sort of competition for ARAM. It's meant to be a mode purely for fun so it doesn't matter if it's not balanced.

This post is in direct response to one that for some reason has upvotes, on the front page, complaining that junglers aren't viable in ARAM. Go to that thread and downvote it to show that guy people don't care how balanced ARAM is.

I have 100 champs and I am 34 games over .500 and around 1550 games played. I love the random aspect of it and I get to play and learn a lot of champions. It's fun and I don't feel like I need another account to win games. In fact on my other two accounts with champs that I like, my record is not very good at all. Maybe I am misunderstanding your reasoning but I win a lot of games on my main account with 100 champions.

Not at all.

It's the same as saying that most people who want to rank up play only a select number of champions that make it easier. If you play for fun, that's fine. But anyone super hardcore about winning in ARAM just for kicks isn't of the same mindset.

You're falsely claiming that following the code-of-conduct rule of striving to win after the match has begun is the same thing.

I never once said that people who like to play what they randomly got in champ select strive to lose.

I'm another example of proof against your claim. I've been playing since S1 and i have all champs. I love the fact that i go to aram and i might play ANYONE. It helps me become familiar with champs that i otherwise would have no interest in playing. Many time i have found new mains to play in 5s because of how i felt about a champ i ended up playing in aram.
