I give up on ever getting to gold.

Doesn't matter how well I do, doesn't matter how much time I put into the game (over 4,000 games in silver at this point), doesn't matter how many champs I learn, doesn't matter how much I learn... I realize I will just never go anywhere in this game. Whether that's because I'm bad or because you're a greedy, shitty company, I just know I'll never be getting gold, plat, or any other rank than silver, and I should just stop hoping for it, or anything else.

Doesn't matter that I can go 15/2 in lane against a challenger Riot employee, doesn't matter that I can go 18/2 as Gnar ADC, doesn't matter that I can massively win my lane and every other lane while controlling objectives, doesn't matter how well I do anything... because, in the end, it's not what I do that matters; it's how much I abuse what Riot is too greedy to fix, and how lucky I get with the four other morons I'm forced to rely on.

So, you win, Riot. I'm done trying. Obviously nothing is going to change, so why even bother.

Let it be known, that today, the 16th of August, League of Legends player Sciela believes that he is stuck in Silver....because he thinks Riot is greedy.

lol, OP. you just have to realize that you are not good at the game! and then you have to realize the next important thing: THAT'S OK! Everyone on this planet is born with a skillset, each of which is vastly different. your skill obviously isnt here in this game! thats noones fault, especially not riots!

It is time to leave your frustration behind and stop focusing on your rank. If you have fun, just play the game for being a game. If you dont have fun doing that, ditch the game.

your best shot at happiness is to find something that you are extremely good at and enjoy doing that. that's especially true when you look for a career! take the path of least resistance, the path your gifts align with.
