Do any of you remember when Tyler1 was banned?

Of course you do. Who doesn't? Why does that matter though? It matters because that moment showed the true colors of the community. The majority of the community is not the boards, they aren't the item set users, the die hard solo players, they are just people who log in for a game or so a day and are perfectly fine being in bronze. When one of their favorite people got banned they didn't even care to think about why he got banned and if it was justified, they just wanted to see their funny streamer play their favorite game.

When riot does most of their designing and balancing for this game they have that type of person in mind, they are the majority of the playerbase and they do have to cater to the majority.

The boards are a minuscule vocal minority, stop thinking that we are the majority when it comes to things.

People that play 1 game a day (or less often)? Sure, I'd believe they're the majority. People that take time out of their day to watch people streaming? Nah, that's a minority. Perhaps a different minority with minimal overlap to this one, but still a minority.
