They enticed us to register with facebook and told us they didnt collect info...then they changed their privacy policy three or four months later and hope we dont notice.

Did you read the new policy?
Did you read the new policy?
No I read the old one and I dont want to re read. Esp since they didnt just add to the policy statement. They CHANGED it around to make it "easier to read" meaning I wont really know the differences bc its not strictly an addition.

they sent everyone an email about the privacy statement change, so if you're that concerned then read it -_-, if you're too lazy to read it don't blame riot if you're accepting something you don't want to
Then this may be of some relevance to your concern (from Part III):
Summary: We use and share personal info with your consent and as needed to complete a transaction or provide a service you’ve requested or authorized. If we ever stop existing (like if we’re bought out or invaded by Yordles), know we could share your info with our successor. Lastly, remember the stuff you type in chat and forums is treated as public info -- please be careful about what you’re sharing!
But you make an agreement to the new policy when you click accept on connecting your League account to Facebook.

So if i log on I will accept the new policy or reject it?
No. When you're in client and ask for recommended friends it'll give you a pop up that says whether or not you want to connect your facebook account.
If they wanted to hope we didn't notice they did a poor job considering they sent everyone an email telling them about it.
Where's the "sell your privacy" part? The closest thing I can see is the statement about how if Riot gets bought out whoever buys them gets your info, which is normal if you want a transfer to be as painless for customers as possible.
