Can you be a little more harsh and immediate with intentional trolls?

Just got in champ select with some asshole. Everyone calls their roles and none overlap. Awesome. Everyone gets what they want. Comes down to last two pick.

Asshole -Don't play with xxxxx Asshole -tilted Asshole -doesn't deserve to win (Locks in Corki jungle) Asshole - stupid rager Me - So you troll. Makes sense Asshole -If I make him tilt more he will go down at least three ranks. Asshole -profit for me Me - I hope you get banned Asshole - LOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOL Asshole - I won't get banned. Riot doesn't do shit. Bystander - Please dodge Asshole - Nope Asshole - QQ

Lucky for me someone dodged. Sadly, someone lost LP and got punished while this troll gets off fucking free. "Riot doesn't do shit." No one should feel like there will be no punishment for intentionally fucking over their teammates. Intentionally trolling should result in an immediate and much harsher punishment then your average report. There is no pre-game report option so there is very little proof in these cases unless someone takes a screenshot before the dodge.

To sum it up here is what is fucked up about this situation:

  1. Someone believes that they can intentionally make four other people lose because Riot won't punish them.

  2. The person that dodged gets an instant and bullshit punishment for avoiding someone like this. I call this punishing the victim.

  3. When someone dodges, unless a screenshot it taken and a ticket is reported, this fucker gets off free with no punishment for this crap.

Riot, with a company as large as yours I don't think it is too much to ask for AT LEAST one of these issues to be resolved.

IO have rbut one thing to say...

LMFAO

seriously, though. id the other person was you, you totally encouraged them. If they fuck up, that doesn't mean breach the hatches, it's OK to harass the fuck out of them. Nope. It means... just report at the end of game. Until then, attempt to make meaningful improvements in the gameplay. Try to cncourage teamwork and cooperation, and encourage positivity. If you are trying to renounce negativity, you have already lost, tbh. :/

"Me - So you troll. Makes sense"

for example...

You implied tha tyou said that... but what could that possibly accomplish? It only encourages the troll.

In other words, you are feedign the troll. You are giving the troll exactly what the troll wants... attnetion/rage. simply ignore the troll (and/or report it alter) ad the problem is solved. Otherwise, you go down with the trol.,.. which is what he wants, anyway.

It doesn't have to make sense. The assumption that it has to make sense doesn't make sense :p

You are assuming he isn't trolling. But if he is, which it seems like he is, then it doesn't have to make sense, hence the troll.

They can't be all that much harsher because the reality is when people get raged at for doing poorly or picking poorly... sometimes their response is to pretend they were 'trolling all along' to save face, when the reality is they just either picked something you don't like or just had a bad game.

Obviously this isn't every case, and some people DO genuinely troll... but Riot can't assume everyone who talks big is actually trolling. Back before I started to clean up my attitude, I used to do that. If I had a particularly bad game I'd pretend it was intentional because anything was better to my immature, insecure mind than being thought of as GENUINELY sucking. I'd still keep trying my best, but it was too late to do anything about it and if I talked big... well, in my eyes back then it was better to troll than suck. It's a stupid, immature, pathetic mindset...but it was the one I had cultivated at the time.
