Why are there so many people out to either attack or support Yasuo?

Either it is a thread where a flaw is pointed out and everyone rushes to deny it or it is a supporting thread (maybe even asking for buffs) and the other half rush to deny it. I know everyone is allowed their opinion but why is Yasuo so controversial?

I've noticed that it doesn't even have to be a thread about Yasuo specifically. As long as he is mentioned somewhere, he becomes the focus.

(Don't get me wrong I have opinions too.)

Positive feedback loop.

Someone posts an anti Yasuo thread. So in response, some post pro Yasuo thread. In response to those, people start posting more anti Yasuo threads.

Also, his wind wall is a pretty frustrating ability.

Because they already gutted Yasuo last year and people who still complain about him now disgust me. Let me have my champion.

I posted this in a different thread but I'll keep saying it. Put yasuos passive on any other champion and they become a monstrosity. What if vayne had double crit chance and an extra blood thirster shield??? What about talon? I think that yasuos passive is truly just beyond op. The only redeeming thing is the new randuins cause yas is going to crit you every time anyway.

that steems from the fact you can do horribly with him or fantasticly, the range of performance is enormous - therefore causing a huge range of emotions in yourself and every other player.
