Don't be an asshole and vote no to surrender. It wastes everyone's time, and it is not honorable - in fact, id rather go out on my own terms. Look, I know that it's easy to say "I never give up!". But think of it this way:
Is there any chance, realistically, that I win this?
Am I wasting other people's time?

BeatinWarDrumz2 votesI agree with this only because he added the words "and you're down." If you are behind in a 4v5 there is little to no chance in coming back. Only vote no to surrender 4v5s when you guys are genuinely ahead because of the early game and are putting pressure. That or the enemy team is cocky and uncoordinated.
^^ - if you are holding out/winning, it is POSSIBLE, especially if the other guy comes back
727PP1 votesIt's completely possible to win 4v5's/ Most of the time all that's required is for the enemy team to be arguing between each other, something that's not at all unlikely in League of Legends. There's a 10% chance that you will win if your afk teammate never connects. That might not seem worth your time, but when you consider that some people take 50+ games to win series, You have no place to measure the value of their time.
Am I wasting other peoples time? No. They are diluting themselves and wasting their own time. If you're time too precious to waste 10 minutes over a 90% chance as well as 15-25 league points (or dozens of future games if you'll get demoted), You're time is far to precious to go on the boards and complain

Onegarion1 votesBut have you ever wasted your time on a game that you couldn't beat? I mean really couldn't beat. I always give my best in those games, but i always walk away because they are too hard. Look back to any game you played as a kid. A lot of NES games i played were easily beaten, but I always had a few that I couldn't get very far as a kid. Those games I'd given up after about a day or two of play and would only play them again years later to beat them or at least put up a much better fight.
The same applies here. Whats the point in wasting my time playing something that I can't win or progress on? You can only try a few things from behind before there is no changing the outcome. If its a normals/ARAM/special game mode I get it. It doesn't hurt to play it out. WHere I really have the issue with this is in ranked play where a game that isn't going to be won, like the situation above, isn't worth prolonging the game and playing longer. At that time its about the point where its GG and a yes vote is only used to move it along and give you more time to maybe get a win for LP.
redniwediS1 votesI don't play to win, so I'll let the vote go whichever way it goes. Don't get me wrong, my idea of fun is competition, however I'll always be the last person to vote and I'll vote in whichever way our team is wanting.
If my team has lost the will to play I'll hit yes, if not and they are just throwing the idea out there it will likely already have failed before I vote. In either case I'm there to play a video game, so I either play the match in front of me or my team gives up and I start a new one. It literally doesn't matter.
