Report them and move on. Don't bitch at them. Don't argue with them. Don't respond to anything they say. THEY WANT YOU TO BE PISSED! How hard is that to understand? Want to know what responding to them accomplishes? Nothing. They get what they want which is you getting pissed and now it is possible for you to be reported for verbal harassment and offensive language (even if they deserved it.)

Yes, they are fucking assholes and deserve a few cross words and hateful remarks. Sure, venting your frustration can make a shitty situation feel a little better, but in the end all you are doing is making a bad situation worse and letting it get to you even more and making it more likely to affect future matches.

Just ignore the pricks and move on. I just spend the last 30 minutes telling my team "ignore him" and "just report him and stop responding to him". Amumu did and he had a better match for it. He was noticeably more positive. Vayne and Azir didn't and they both just got in bitch fights with the troll and raged and died and raged more and just made the troll that much happier.

Ignore, report, move on.

I tried that, but then the self proclaimed adc just ends up intent feeding to a point its impossible to ignore. And the 300pings don't help either, and neither does the other 3 trolls also trying to threaten reports for not playing their style.

Being accused of "Trolling" on either side of the action exchange is not fun at all with the negative attitudes interfering with the Team Morale against sportsmanlike conduct, Fact!

Also, to try and proclaim there is a person "Trolling" and if they respond with their opinions or to classify if they are not "Trolling" based on another persons opinion judging the quality of the game as in "Trolling" the game quality as they are thinking they own the judge management opinions of the game, then the "Trolling" is really the person calling out "Trolling".

Also, calling out "Trolling" is also another tactic for some people to take people out of their game if they are annoyed with the ability of their teammate to gold or farm the gold better than them.

I agree with ignore, but that is not always possible. I will speak up if another person is being attack for trying their best. From: FuryofThornsRedo

You know what, I used to agree with this, but I changed my mind. Just watched one of Riot Lyte's talks, and we need to let these players know that this shit is not okay.

Definitely report them. Definitely mute them. Definitely don't get baited and freak out. But let them know that they are being an absolute scumbag and making the game worse for everyone.

I'm still trying to think of a more effective way to do this. I think I'm going to start telling passive aggressive knock knock jokes in all chat until the guy flaming our first time blitzcrank for missing a single hook, pulls their head out of their ass.

Not sure how effective that would be, but it would make me feel better, lighten the mood, and maybe shake them out of whatever bad day they're bringing to my game.

But no, silence is not an acceptable answer to trolling/raging/bad behavior. It doesn't work, and we need to let these people know that their behavior will not be tolerated.

Ill only agree with this once riot starts doing the following

A: bring back tribunal B: remove the autoamted punishments that cant ell the difference between jokes/ actually toxic behavior (IE death threats racial slurs ect) and negative attitudes (IE: 'bg' 'sigh team is feeding' and it just throws it under being toxic and punishes you jsut as hard as the ones who are actually toxic) C: Starts punishing people for poor play in ranked or at least make it a reportable option and if they continually do bad (extremely bad not just oh you went 0/3 in the start of the game but you guys lost because you all sucked) if anything poor play in ranked should equate to A ranked restriction to force you to get better, if you still wanna play league you can, just not in ranked if you're going to do terrible D: loss prevented in ranked games for afks/leavers idc if you win or lose a game, if theres an afk nobody wins lp nobody loses lp (and mmr or series games)

(NOTE: I dont actually rage at the trolls that often or anything, I try and defend my self without being toxic because id rather not the entire enemy team believe their lies and report me and then I get punished by this stupid automated punishment system)
