I am tired of opening my client to have 10 requests from fake silly lvl 1 spammers talking about elo boosting me. DO something asap, this is ridiculous, i don't know which requests are from friends and which are silly fakes.
Can we all pls share this so riot is forced to do something about it?
What's ridiculous is you expecting a miraculous fix. They can't just implement a haphazard fix for it. If it was that simple, they'd have done it already as it is affecting their business obviously. I'm pretty sure they already mentioned that they are working on an effective way of dealing with this issue already so it's not likely you'll even get a read by a rioter.
You want to know what is really amazing. I have never had a level 1 account send me a friend request offering me a boost, I also don't get junk emails offering me free cars, vacations, or porn that are most likely filled with spyware and viruses. You want to know why I don't have any of these things happen? I don't do things to encourage these type of spammers to send me emails/friend requests, and if by chance I do get these, I most certainly wouldn't accept them.
Wait, .. I just had an idea, ... maybe you could just not accept their request ...
I bet the ones who downvoted this don't have the same problem.
