On multiple occasions I see this guy tanking entire teams with ease and sometimes getting a kill or two and still coming out alive.
I'm not calling him op im just curious as to why this guy is never picked up. He always rolls through teams

Siachi1 votesCould be in part to how his kit as a stat-drainer is kind of hard to get across visually, so people don't appreciate that power.
Granted, his abilities definately show that "TRUNDLE IS BEING BUFFED" (Glowing club after Q, red-aura in Frozen Domain, bigger when he's used his ult), I think only his ultimate shows any sort of Debuff visual to it (The energy coming out of the ulted enemy and onto Trundle).
Also, I don't think his passive has any sort of visual indicator at all, so if you didn't know much about the champion, you might just think he has a above-average HP/5, and no passive.
And while I strangely find him fun to play, I can see why most people don't play him: besides his Pillar, he doesn't really have any way to out-play someone (And even then I'd hesitate to calling his pillar an 'outplay'): He pretty much just out-stats his enemies, is how I would describe it.
EDIT: And like others have mentioned, he can still be kited, since most of his damage comes from being in your face (He has his ult and BoRK, but I don't think you're often going to use those to secure a kill, but rather use it to start the fight.)

Trash MammaI1 votesThere's actually an indication on his passive. A green aura-like thing comes from the dying unit and goes into trundle. Same function as his ult. It's just really easy to miss

Does the passive indicator only show up on certain units? I feel like I'd notice it at some point in lane with all the minions dying around me, so does it only show up for enemy champion deaths or what?
I'd test it myself, but I can't really log into League until later this evening.
Trash MammaI1 votesI've never paid attention to it closely when it comes to champions (cause im in the middle of a fight obvs xD) but yea, with minions a green-ish aura comes out of that unit into trundle. I'd assume that's the hp he's getting from passive
BeatzBoyFTW1 votesHis buffed W, combined with multiple dead minions around, could make him seriously tanky at some point. Problem is that he is really easy to get kited, since all of his damage heavily comes from juz his AA.
