Just another thread about why we need a pregame lobby report option

Just came from a pregame lobby in which a player, for no goddamn reason, decided he was going to intentionally feed. What happened after? A victim of this sad fucker dodged and got punished for leaving. One of my allies was in his promos and I hope he wasn't the one to dodge. This is fucking bullshit, Riot. How hard is it to add a simple pregame report button? How often do people actually get screenshots of this shit to report before a dodge and how fun is it to get those support tickets and deal with them that way? I would not care near as much about trolls if the person that dodges isn't the one to get punished while the troll stays in queue for the next match just to fuck them over as well.

I had the same situation: guy says he's gonna feed, picks Rammus, takes Cleanse/Clairvoyance. Of course, I had promo. I was just begging everybody in my team to leave champ select because I have promo. Fortunately for me, someone listened and dodged. But that Rammus... he went completely unpunished. In order to report him, I would have to waste AT LEAST 20 minutes of my life to actually play with that guy in my team, and then, after wasting that time, finally report him. It's just wtf Rito! In such situation, we have only 2 options: a) leave champ select and get punished because we were matched with a troll. b)play the game that we will lose and that way waste our time, only then we have opportunity to report.

Let's have option like this: we can report a person in champ select. If that person gets 3 reports (3 would be the best number in case of people trolling in duo) an information pops out that you can safely leave the champ select. Nobody has to waste time or loose LP and the troller gets proper punishment.

I know this may not be the popular opinion here but I always try to call their bluff. Here is my reasoning:

I'd say about 75% of the time (just in my experience) that person will quickly change their masteries, dodge, or play the game normally.
If I know, even before tha gane starts, this game will most likely be a loss. Thus, I feel like I am better prepared to handle the loss. (This is opposed to thinking we can win the game and losing due to bad plays, one bad laner/roll, unexpected trolling, etc.). Heck, sometimes I have won those games with the "champ select troll" because the enemy team makes stupid mistakes due to getting "laxed" in game.
9 reports AND my screen shot/ticket to hurts them big time. Riot has really cracked down on intentional feeders/grievers.
A kid who behaved that way (like the guy from the OP's picture) WANTS you to respond to them. He wants you to be frustrated. He wants you to beg him "please don't do that". He wants to hear the he will be reported. He wants you to simply RESPOND.

This works for at least. I feel more in control of an uncontrollable situation.

I would totally want something like this, but I can see how it could be abused.

aka...dont like your team comp? convince your team to report one of the people and get out of the game.

I use the minimize button and ignore the chat. I've seen everything from racism to people ranting about JESUS in all caps.

I figure either people can use the chat productively or I'll just ignore it. Not a big deal to me either way.

I used to get really worked up, but realized there are awesome people and really bad people. I'm not going to change the world through LoL, so I just mute or minimize the stupid.

It would be helpful.

I would spend 20 minutes though, just to get him/her reported. Get a screenshot and a ticket, and make sure that my teammates won't forget to report.

The fact that cleanse and clairvoyance are troll spells says something about Riot's balance on summoner spells...

They should have a legitimate purpose in the game instead of marking trolls in a lobby.

We need a report option for sure I am so tired of this shit 75 chat restrictions 33 ranked bans, and the problem, Is Toxic players win, want to even know why I get so many automated restrictions its because I piss off toxic players who spam report button but TL:DR lets get to the point?

The problem The Last 3-5 days all I have encountered in ranked before bans is Toxic players constantly and Riot says they are trying to improve the match-making system but it feels like a joke to me, in ranked the type of trolling I got all week.

. Players would take the Lane I already had taken, call me a troll, and then cause the entire game to get thrown (Then I would get spam reported.) (Riot doesn't investigate this behavior they favor the trolls.), and (Reporting them does nothing.)

. Junglers running in lane and feeding without allowing me to ask for ganks or make the calls, they just run in and feed throwing game hard making game unplayable, (Again where is Riot?)

. Champion Selection, Players refusing to talk, even when I ask 3-4 times before the time is up and causing games to be thrown, the sad thing this isn't just in ranked, this is going on in Normal Draft too, and What is Riot doing about it?

We need a way to report toxic players at champion select and be able to disband the game or something, Honestly I am sick of this and could easily win 33 games get rid of my restrictions in like 5 days max, but at the rate of getting (Toxic) match-ups you know how many games I have to play around 100-300 games before I get rid of ranked restrictions and I get rid of my chat restrictions way before I get rid of a ranked restriction because of the Match-Making system, and amount of toxic people in this community, I know the community is not bad, but the match-making is god awful.

This whole game is a bunch of over sensitive assholes looking to hit the report button... keep giving Riot ideas of how to ban people and eventually you will get banned and be on here crying about it or you will be playing alone.

This is an old thread but this feature is still in need. Around the time this was posted I didn't even think RIOT could view the chats from those lobbies. After having a player steal my role and trash talk everyone in the lobby I filed a report. I was informed they can see those chats and they take it just as seriously as in game offenses.

So we have some grounds to fight this negativity. Let's bring this thread back from the grave Yorick and let the devs know we want to be able to report players from this lobby.

I know some players will just stick it out and play it through but in the case of a player stealing your role who is obviously tilted and will not perform well, or in the case of a player admitting they will int, it's important to be able to report them here. I often dodge these types of lobbies. I'd much rather take a 3 LP loss then gamble on a negative player actually being good enough to carry me in a role I do not prefer. I've gambled TwistedFate before when I thought dodging might demote me, and I was demoted anyway when the player fed and BM'd the team for not being good enough for him to be strong.

If it's important to you, let RIOT know.

I don't get why intentionally feeding trolls pretty much ALWAYS pick Rammus. Is this some kind of trend? Anyways, I am also sick and tired of this. Riot needs to implement this feature since it will definitely reduce toxicity by a lot (people tend to be toxic pre-game and post).

If you could report/kick people during champion select, they'd just wait a few minutes until the game starts and then troll.
