yes, i refuse to do support

not because i can't. im actually a solid support. i just refuse to because in silver elo, it's very hard to find someone on the same page as you. even if you explain to them exactly what you want and what your plan is, people are still stupid and pick fights when they shouldn't, cause lane feeds, then blame you for it.

i say this at the start of every single champ select. if you want to go ahead and blindly pick whatever your want, don't be pissed when i do the same.

people who scream "ITS A TEAM GAME NOOB WORK WITH YOUR TEAM" are massive hypocrites, because if you really thought that, then you would do it instead of instalocking your favorite champion and counterpicking yourself. Sure pick order is king, but do you really wanna try to force someone who is either A. terrible at support and warns you about it or B. absolutely does not want to support into a support role? i

there's a reason so few people are support mains. it's not because it's extremely technically difficult to support all the time. it's the people. more often than not you get someone with a completely different playstyle than you, or someone who just plain isn't as good as you. not to mention its usually a thankless job. nobody gives a shit if a support does well, but if he does bad, he's a piece of shit scrub who needs to get reported asap and uninstall. oh and god forbid he accidentally takes a kill. then he's a troll.

SUre, i can support, but only when people work WITH me, and in silver elo its every man for himself and no communication whatsoever. so no, i will not support. cry me a river.

What I'm hearing is that you only know how to support one way. You do that way very well, but when someone is more or less aggressive than you prefer, you simply can't adapt. Unfortunately a huge part of bot lane is positioning yourself around the person you're laning with and creating a new playstyle every game. Frankly if you can't do that with support, I doubt you can do it with ADC either. Don't blame the game, blame yourself.

then play full damage supports, like zyra or karma and carry the game.

Youve been trashed every single game other than one in your match history. Turns out the reason you cant rise is because you simply dont require the skill. Dont come up with shitty excuses.

Dude, a support... I strongly believe can make or break a game. You cannot simply no play support because you think that people are not on the same page... Everyone in the game has objectives you job as support is to notice that and help. Whether by maintaining the jungle entrances or objectives like red, blue, dragon, baron.

A single play by a Braum Leona Lulu Sona Soraka Taric Thresh Zilean Nami can make or break the game... I have watch dominating teams get destroyed simply by a well placed ability by a support or turn a horrible mistake into a game winning chance.

Vision is by far the most under-estimated thing, one you need to work on, if I know where your entire team is and you cannot see us? What is the likely-hood of us setting up a trap? Or stealing baron, dragon, your red, or blue?

alright let me put this in terms everyone here can understand, the op is correct on this issue. i have played support on my pbe account, and have had the adc run straight into a 2 on 1 situation or want to at less then half health (give or take a quarter) and get killed. then they want to blame me, because they where the ones who charged in like total noobs. if you don't have the health, don't rush in like a idiot on 2 opponents with almost full health and expect me to follow when i'm just as low. i'm not giving up the double kill for you no thank you. and here is the sad part, i played a match as sona with a wukong, and had much better results with that player then i did with anyone else. he knew not to go in alone, knew to wait until my heal was up to engage and stayed with me through the fight. communication in fights is key, so i can understand where the op is coming from. if you have a adc that goes full ham without talking to you first, there goes the first blood and if you charge in trying to save them because they messed up there goes the double kill gg bot lane will start to be fed and the game will snowball out of control. so people please do not protect players like that, who will charge in blindly get killed then blame someone else for their mistakes. you are enabling them to continue doing so

If it were me, I would still accept whatsoever lane I will ended up, or you can say, "fated" with, whenever all my decent lane would get called out first. Of course if someone insta-locks, I mean, what can you do? Someone insta-locks Orianna mid, so you will still stubbornly pushes yourself to duo mid? Yeah if it were in person, I would gladly punch him right in the face, but what's done is done, I just gotta move on. If you're gonna be this straight up jack-ass of being the one rich spoil brat who chooses whatever he wants and orders his teammates around of what they should not pick, you really have a long way to go to get to high tier.

Note: Checked your match history. Besides the 8/1 Gnar, the rest look like shiet as not something I would expect for someone who picks something besides the lane he despise.

A few things:

If you're refusing a role outright, you're only contributing to the problem. A large part of the game is adapting to circumstances and working with/around them. Complaining about teammates not having a similar play style or mindset is petty at best. That should already be a given.

You're complaining about hypocrites and seemingly toxic teammates, when you yourself have displayed nothing but the exact same tendencies.

"Sure pick order is king, but do you really wanna try to force someone who is either A. terrible at support and warns you about it or B. absolutely does not want to support into a support role?" More reason to be the better teammate and assume that burden. If anything, this is an admission on your part that you understand the concept of teamwork and communication, but refuse any reasonable application of said concepts. Nothing about what you're saying is constructive, all you're doing is making the problem worse.

lol look at the in-depth match history for those games you guys are bringing up. in almost every case, someone feeds extremely hard early on. i'll admit i have bad games, but not much can be expected of me when other lanes go 6/0 in the first 10 minutes.
