Dear Riot, I think i'm going to stop playing Ranked solo queue forever.

Its pretty obvious that the majority of people I've played with in my past 6 years of league don't take solo queue as seriously as they should. Ive been to Diamond 3 and been as low as Silver 5. (never bronze though, phew). But i can say with full confidence there is no difference in the attitudes people approach the ranked environment with.

No matter what queue, no matter what MMR, NO MATTER WHAT RANK. People generally don't care about playing the game competitively and strategically in order to win the one game you're placed in. In the past couple months, I've been lucky to say the least to have gotten at least 1 person on my team who just can't find (excuse my language here) a single fuck.

I can play any other competitive / ranked game such as CounterStrike, WoW (pvp), guildwars, even world of tanks and people would still take the "ranked" environment 100x more seriously. If you don't think i'm being honest or you don't agree go ahead and tell me why i'm wrong below, But this is for Riot. Riot What have you done in this games lifespan to make people not take Solo queue seriously? You let people get away with really ridiculous stuff, such as trolling, afk'ing, feeding intentionally, and worst of all Not caring about the WIN.

Before i start to play any more ranked, I'd love to hear about Riots opinion on the matter, For me and i am 100% sure that there are a million other more cases like this where you just don't want to play the game anymore because it makes you feel angry and upset over the childish behavior exemplified through Solo queue.

P.S. I really enjoy playing league, and hope i can play solo queue one day. Its been a good 6 years. Welp, penis.

i agree with your opinion. too many times i get into a game, and someone dies a few times. which is alright, its just kills. and in my league where people don't take advantage of kills its even more alright. but then someone yells at the person. and suddenly the game becomes more about whose right and whose wrong , whose a piece of shit and whose a worse piece of shit. and less about the GAME. suddenly no body cares that this is ranked! THIS MATTERS. if we wanted a chill zone where we can do whatever we want, well, we got normal games for that, even bot games.

i personally believe peoples mentality about ranked is hindering the more serious players from really improving at the game. when people argue more than they play its basically a loss game, and why? not cause we're worse at the game, but because for some reason a select few members of our team prefer arguing over playing.

Disable chat in Ranked games. Pings are sufficient enough. Less caring whose right about a certain play or not, and more focus about the next plan of action.

There needs to be a mode where its taken 100% seriously. A mode where people actually care about improving their game play. Oh wait, there is already a mode for that, it was supposed to be called Ranked Mode.
