Just to be clear about the snowdown event this year

So is there nothing i can do to earn the snowdown stuff this year that doesnt require RP, the only thing i saw is if you manage to earn at least 6 normal boxes in 1 month. You can get an icon, and if you are really lucky the poro king chest. I just want to double check this is actually the case.

Also when you are sad because there isnt a snowdown shop, and you dont like to spend money on league its just really fun seeing the deals you got on what.
