Essentially what the gameplay boards are not?

I always dislike these posters on a level- I know it's accurate, but I both feel a sort of primal "are you saying I suck" fear, and I'm annoyed by the failure to note that while it's absolutely true that a growth mindset is better, one can't just make it happen instantly, or even relatively quickly.

Gameplay section: Instead of:

  • I give up
  • It's good enough
  • I can't make this any better
  • This is too hard
  • I made a mistake
  • I just can't do tihs
  • I'll never be that smart
  • Plan A didn't work
  • My friend can do it What people do say:
  • Too op, nerf
  • This champion needs a buff
  • Buff ples
  • Permaban
  • Riot matchmaking sucks
  • Seriously what were you thinking when you designed this
  • This damn cheese
  • (people here don't make plans)
  • I tried to do it but it failed. This is so UP.

A result of my boredum. Just mindless banter.

Haha, my high school has posters with that text on it plastered around the school.

You're missing the fundamental piece. All of these are assuming one thing: that the marginal gain outstrips the marginal cost.

So, is it worth it to get better? Is it worth it to try Plan B instead of give up? Is it worth it to look over mistakes and learn from them? What you've listed are all necessary things to grow, but in order to be able to say them, you have to look deep inside yourself and say that this is worth the effort and work.
