Anyone care for a challenge?

WARNING: VERY LONG POST! THERE IS NO TL;DR, SO EITHER READ THE ENTIRE POST, OR MOVE ALONG

When it got around to school being out for kids, there were plenty of posts here on the boards that were talking about how people hated the summer for playing League due to all the immature children playing the game right now.

This must translate over to the boards as well.

The moment Riot puts out something good, people have to backlash at them because it isn't what they want. And what kind of people whine and whine about not getting what they want? Immature, stuck up, 5 year old brats.

Fiora gets a brand new kit, a far better and less toxic and more skillful kit then her current one, but no, people are in an uproar just because her face in the new splash looks odd, and some of her skins aren't up to par with "what people paid for".

Riot releases a new HUD for the VERY FIRST TIME that displays FAR more information than the old one, AND clears up the screen; but again, no. This is too big of a change, and Riot HAS to put in an option to revert back to the old HUD, or get rid of the new one entirely due to "science" and whatnot.

Riot releases their best lore event, hands down, to date! However, due to the amount of time it took to actually get the lore up and running, people think it will take forever for some more decent lore to come out, despite Jaredan saying the problems have been fixed, and they WILL be releasing lore on a regular basis now.

That is always what happens with this damned community. Riot puts out something that they have worked on for a substantial amount of time, put their hearts and souls into it, only for it to blow up in their face because they didn't please a certain group of people. No wonder they are never on these boards! They say ONE THING, whether it is to respond to a certain post, or play along with a fun post, they are immediately bombarded with questions, demands, or rants. This is such a hostile environment for them, they don't want to come on here, because no matter what they say, it won't matter to some disrespectful, immature brat who hasn't gotten what they want, and will flame, and whine, and yell, hoping that they get what they want.

For all of those out there that do this, let me give you a news flash. League of Legends is the largest video game IN THE WORLD right now. No one can deny this. If you threaten to leave to another game, or try and demand your money back, guess what?

IT WONT MAKE A DAMNED DIFFERENCE!!!

You want to leave the game? By all means, please do. You might actually make this game a better place.

You want your money back? Go ahead, ask. Riot is a multi-million dollar company. They can more then afford to shell out the money for a couple hundred skins, and then make that money back the very moment they release a new skin, and then some due to the Esports environment.

You think your voice is big enough and threatening enough to Riot, that they will actually bow down and meet your every need? Well, you are one of maybe a few hundred to a few thousand people out of MILLIONS UPON MILLIONS of people that play this game every minute of every hour of every day. No matter how much you try to get what you want, you are STILL a part of a vast minority. You may think you're a part of a majority, but that majority is really just a minority with REALLY big mouths on these specific boards. Riot has to pay attention to the majority of players that play this game, not the few thousand immature whining brats that dominate these boards.

You have no power over Riot, and quit trying to act like you do. This is their game, and they put an enormous amount of work into this game EVERY DAY! They put an enormous amount of work into something you don't even have to pay for! They put an enormous amount of work into something they are so extremely passionate about, that they are willing to listen to their player base, and make this game the best it possibly can be. They put an enormous amount of work into something that they are hardly ever respected for, and those times they are respected for it are completely shunned out by the whiners, the ragers, and the immature brats that didn't get what they want.

And thus, I FINALLY present you the challenge I asked of in the title. Take a step back away from the small things that you find negative about this game. Take a step back from Fiora's new splash, the new HUD, the fact that lore has taken so long to come out. Take a step back and actually look at how amazing this game really is. By doing this, here are a few things I can point out:

1: This game has lasted for 6 years. It has taken the video game industry by storm within that relatively short time frame, and has completely overshadowed every other game that has tried to compete with it.

2: Riot has bloomed into a multi-million dollar company due to this game, and they continue to grow due to the amount of work they put into this game.

3: This game has over 130 unique champions, and that number continues to grow over time. This large number of uniquely different champions causes each and every game played to VASTLY different from each other. No game is EVER the same.

4: This game came from practically nowhere, and it is only through sheer determination and hard work that Riot has gotten this game to the point that you would be hard pressed to find someone who plays any type of video game that hasn't heard of the name "League of Legends".

These are only a few of the things I can come up with. If I took more time, I'm sure I could come up with a pretty extensive list, as I'm sure the rest of you can.

I assume you aren't one of those immature brats that will downvote this the moment they start reading it, simply because it doesn't appeal to what they want. I thank you for taking the time to read it, and actually being considerate of what those around you have to say.
