You don't need to be a shining beacon of goodness...

Hell, you don't even have to be a good person in this game but can you at least not be an intentional breeding ground for pointless negativity. I really don't think that is asking too much.

You know the community is bad when posts that call people to this minimum of standards exist

And yet....people have so much trouble with it.....

asking of the internet might be. Its like piece on earth.Humans are inherently evil. give them anonymity and mob mentality, they are off to the races,

That would be fine if it were true, but the majority of the community needs to be coddled. If you even mention the slight possibility that someone made a mistake or that they could change tactics to win the game, they lose their minds.

The difference is this: You have the right to not be treated like crap but you do not have the right for everyone to treat you like a princess

there's a big difference there. So, you are right, but your opinion doesn't reflect the communities.

Yea the negativity in this community is terrible compared to pretty much every other games. It must be some kind of snowball effect like a guy comes in and is toxic to new players, new players become toxic to new players and it goes on and on. I think we need an intervention from Riot to make it stop (im talkin more than just the Report button that is easily abused, maybe the return of the tribunal?)
