Why does ranked hate me?

I place S2, lose my S2>S1 promos NINE TIMES OVER, then drop to S3 four times over, then drop to S4. Spend a month there, climb to S1, drop back to S4. Climb to S3, drop to S4. Climb to S2, drop down to S3 three times over, then drop to S4. Climb back to S1, and now I'm sitting at S3 again... Why can't I have consistent games? Either my team stomps or the enemy team stomps (And even if they stomp, I still carry). There is no fun or balanced game. I'm starting to think that matching is broken or rigged somehow.

Even if I'm doing very well and carrying, my team still always ends up losing because they just can't handle themselves and don't make smart choices -- and even when I go around telling people what to do, they ignore me, whine and moan about how the game's over, and just generally act like little brats. I know I'm better than most silver players, but I just can't do much without a team. : /

All I want to do is hit gold 5 before the season ends, but it looks like that's not about to happen. T_T
