Illaoi, Kindred, new Poppy, Jhin... they were all permabanned for weeks when they came out, and Jhin is still banned every other game, yet they all have a winrate in the 30s or low 40s. I just don't get it. Why do people ban new champs, even if most people can't play them (effectively making them a non-issue)?
I've put in some practice on Jhin, and he's fun and strong, but I never get to play him. >.>
Because everyone is new to whatever is newly released, and most people (Especially in Ranked), don't wanna deal with someone who's never played the champion. They want someone experienced on their team.
if there are 2 teams you have a 50% chance to win 40% isnt a low win rate when you consider all the diffrent champions you can play against 48-and over should be considered high its not like champions will most likely get to 70% win rate. even though its still out of 100% 50% is the static average of what everything should be in theory when you get to what is played then you see what is above and below 50%
