Thats a 4% drop from last patch and puts him in around the UP area.

Until they get rid of his low risk ultimate (that got changed over and over again because of QSS stopping his ultimate) then no, he will continue to be permaban. He stills threatens to one shot your adc while maintaining a built in escape. Its far from fair.

Kills do not = wins, I can one shot any ADC and a lot better with Leblanc and Talon (No reaction time for anyone to shield, heal , buffs , dodge, etc. Unlike Zed)

Fair means you have an equal chance of winning; Vs Zed you have a higher chance then that of Swain or Leblanc.

If the ultimate goal is to win the game, then why does it matter? If every once in awhile you die and the assassins get away (Thats the idea of an assassin btw and I dont see Leblanc with a 80% ban rate even though she does it better and faster)

I never said that Leblanc was fair, nor did I say Talon was fair. They just aren't nearly as popular as Zed is. And since they have a low pick rate, no one bothers to ban them. You may be able to "react" to Zed's damage (and if Zed is fed enough, you don't even really get that) but he has so many other benefits going for him that he is consistently a more frustrating target. And I didn't mention swain either (btw, he is perma ban so I don't really know what your point is there).

Zed deals a lot of damage, has a safe lane phase, untargetable mechanics, and execution damage he also has an "escape from a failed attempt" instead of die horribly.

Personally, I think its going to take kit mechanic changes for him to make it off the permaban list. Why? He got a bunch of kit changes since his release that helped him succeed in a world where QSS was countering his ultimate. Now that that world is gone, those changes to his kit are proving very frustrating to play against; and until Zed loses some of those extra tools he got when he was getting unfairly countered (by QSS) you won't see a change in his ban rate.

He has

1: Untargetable mechanic , which is his ult, that's on a 60-120 CD. I think that's perfectly fair for an ULTIMATE, to have.

2: He's an Assassin? Every assassin deals a lot of damage not a good point -_-.

3: That "safe" landing phase was hig quite hard due to the recent changes (Hence a 4% win rate drop)

4: Execution damage that is heavily delayed and relys on him landing damage first before it does almost any.

Look this is how Zed works. Zed is a reliable Assassin , who has a Strong laning phase and roams. (All good all ins)

His trade offs are:

You can avoid most of his damage by dodging his Q's. Which are average speed for most spells (think Varus Q).

His Execution damage is probably the most telegraphed ability ever and avoidable by the means of Zhonyas, Shields, etc.

Now the biggest trade off for Zed having such a good laning phase is his damage isn't instant, and it's avoidable. Unlike other Assassins. Being able to Instantly kill targets is an insanely strong power because it provides almost no counter play. Hence why Leblanc and Talon use mana. (And talon having a bad laning phase and Leblanc bad wave clear)

I think this is a perfectly good trade off in terms of balance , your trading a very strong power for another, one is a bit more reliable but less snowball/killing power, while the others are more feast or famine sorta.

the people who are good with him have a 60+% win rate. The only reason it is so low becuase he is a popular champ so the people who are learning and are bad with him bring down the win rate

People with 125+ games only have a 54% win rate? Which below average among all champions (Average is 55%)

The only reason I have a 60% win rate with him is because I have over 600+ games on Zed. Which a very small portion of people who play him have that. Only like 12% even have 125 games, much less for 600...
