Seriously.. what does broken mean to you? I always thought and was told 'broken' means something is so messed up (strong or weak) that a simple number change won't fix it. Other's say 'broken' means stronger than OP. Other's say so useless it is 'broken'.

Narasimha3 votesBroken is basically a champion that can only exist in two states. Incredibly strong, or incredibly weak. There is no middle ground. This is usually because the champion's kit is such that if their numbers are half decent, they are dominating. But if their numbers are hit, then they become worthless. Think Olaf and Elise.

I think you basically got it; it's also used to describe stuff that's buggy as hell, among other things. It's just one of those terms that gets thrown around a lot and has a stupidly broad definition as used in LoL context. Context clues be your friend :3

I don't think the kit has to be unfixable for the champion to be broken, it could just be overtweaked. Just means the balance in the game as upset and needs to be repaired, imo.

This can happen by any mechanism; that isn't where the definition comes from. It comes from something ruining the experience of LoL. That's just my opinion on how I hear it used. It's a question of extremity, not mechanism.
