The level of cynicism in League always reaches a peak when Worlds comes around

The people here on the Boards are generally always upset about something. It is just a matter of what pisses someone off the most at the current moment. But every single year when Worlds rolls around, the level of anger, cynicism, and outright hostility reaches an rather ridiculous level. And honestly I don't know why. Maybe it has something to do with the fact that I play League rather recreationally or that I don't watch professional play, but I don't get why everyone gets so upset during Worlds. I've seen at least five different front page posts about how terrible Victorious Maokai is. Five different posts, that consist of basically the same message of "Why Maokai he am bad Rito you must really hate the community man you guys suck." Maybe try taking the game a bit less seriously, and try having a little fun out there? You may find you have a better time than you are currently having.
