Why doesn't League of Legends have 2-step Verification?

Almost EVERY SINGLE other game, service, etc. has two step verification.

There is no reason not to have it, to many times have I seen people hacked and had their accounts banned, because of the hacker and it taking weeks upon weeks to try and get their account back, because while I appreciate Riot Support they are insanely incompetent when it comes to permanent bans.

No one wants to risk losing an account they've invested a ton of money and time in. Please make account security much more prevalent and an important issue. Preferably like Blizzard does, with them having an authentication app for logging in, AND another step for your phone.

League Of Legends is the most popular game in the world, it makes sense that they should have much better security options in place. And it not taking 7+ years or never.
