Does anyone else think mages do a LITTLE to much to towers?

I'm not saying they shouldn't do any, but recently after the changes Riot did to mages regarding tower damage, it seems like there damage to them is a little over the top (They do more then adcs mid game, like WAY more)

MAGES? THEY DO LITERALLY THE LEAST AMOUNT TO TOWERS. like 30 - 50 damage with auto attacks. ???????????

They do a lot actually as the more ap they have the more they'll do, if yo haven't noticed the magic damage they do to towers which gets insane late game .
