Anyone who plays WoW, a question.

Are the raids actually fun? The dungeons are just pathetically easy and, with the newly simplified classes, I just don't have fun. But, I need an MMO to play since I can't play League 24/7 without burning out. I love raiding and PvP, but there's so few games that have both.

I tried GW2 and I absolutely love it, but no one pugs at all, and there's not a lot to do.

I tried getting back into FFXIV, but I just can't do it. The combat is just too slow and simplistic (thanks consoles / Sony).

So, my only real option is WoW -- but are the raids even fun? Is there a class that's fun anymore in easier content?

If you're in a guild that communicates and just enjoys each other's company, yeah, all the raids are fun. If you just go pug raids or play LFR, probably not going to entertain you for very long. If you have or can earn gold you can pay for your sub and even any Blizzard store content with it due to the advent of the WoW Token.

It really depends on the guild/sever you find man, iv'e been playing since BC and have seen the rise and fall of "Raiding Guilds" back when Guilds were server hopping to get the server first raid kill and claiming it across multiple servers. Luckily those days are gone rofl xD.

As Nami said, LFR's and Pugs are not very fun, the pugs fall apart and LFR has a very clever nickname "Looking For Re-" I'm sure you know the rest of it. And dungeons will always be easy since Heirlooms are so easy to obtain. EVERYBODY just 2 shots everything lmao it's quite funny.

BUT, with the cross-server thing, even if your realm has no "decent raid guilds" you can always join a guild on a connected server. I raid with my guild every Tuesday and Thursday. We wipe out normal on Tuesday, and then heroic on Thursday. Weekends are stuff like RBG's and such. We all get on discord and have a fun time, some people are drinking, some are smoking, we all know our stuff BUT we also know how to have fun, which is really nice. So i suggest finding a guild that can clear the bosses but still have fun doing it.

Nothing worse than a tense raid, and awkward too lmao.

Gold can buy game time as well as game services now like race changes and appearance changes.

Of course PVP is always fun though there is not any "PvP Tier Gear", but there is an honor system that you obtain rewards for like mounts, titles, and artifact weapon appearances.

If you like PvP you should try elder scrolls online.

Theres many different PvP viable builds.

And the siege warfare is an actual blast to play.

Not a lot of people know the answer to that question. Getting to the parts of WoW that are remotely challenging and you can have a potential impact on takes forever; I recommend playing a tank, though. Most fun is probably a Druid tank, but I play a Death Knight because they're by far the most powerful solo class, especially once you get the Artifact

I can't say for the current content, but past content had very well designed and very challenging raids, but you really need a good guild for that. Beating a raid for the first time is just an amazing experience, but many guilds fall apart before that out of frustration. These days you get the option to clear raids on incredibly easy difficulty to experience the content without of having to put in a lot of work, so failing often at the real thing is something a lot of players these days can't handle.
