What is wrong with the boards...

I post a thread about a balance change, i was just curious as to what people thought about it. Little did i know this is not the place to discuss balance changes. I put forth an idea that Rengar's Jump should be effected by Silences, i even gave an example of why i thought it should be so. Am i demanding it be changed? No i just wanted to know if it was a good idea or not. Of course i chose the wrong place to post because no one even addressed the topic, all i got was down votes and people saying "You are an idiot, Rengars jump is a passive and Silences dont effect passives"... NO SHIT SHERLOCK, im obviously aware that silences dont effect passives as i am putting forth an idea where a silence would effect his passive, which implies I KNOW IT DOESNT EFFECT HIS PASSIVE!...

I dont care if you down vote because its a bad idea but at least read my freaking post before commenting, then you will see I KNOW HIS JUMP IS A PASSIVE AND THAT SILENCES DONT EFFECT PASSIVES WHICH IS WHY IM POSTING ABOUT A CHANGE TO MAKE SILENCES EFFECT ONLY HIS PASSIVE.

Its a little sad i need to post things like im talking to a 5 yr old, i just wanted some feedback from Rengar players to see if it would effect him all that much. I imagine not, but i dont play Rengar so its hard for me to know. I do play Malzahar and in the example that i gave the only way to survive was if my Silence could stop him. Here is my post if you are curious and if you have an opinion on the actual change then please tell me why it is a good idea or bad. Rengar Shouldn't Be Able To Jump From Bush While Silenced

People did provide legitimate counter-arguments which appealed to game clarity. Just because you don't like those arguments does not mean they are invalid or that you weren't heard. Those who responded did not like your idea because it suggested arbitrarily changing a game mechanic to behave differently from every other mechanic like it.

Usually when I see a phrase like this is means "say it so everyone can understand, regardless of their experience with the topic". I don't see how this is a bad thing, or why it would make you sad.

I've noticed there's a group of a dozen people that just down-vote everything once a week, I chalk them up to trolls. And since riot doesn't look through boards often, you're probably just better off reposting it later as a new one.
