Wasn't there a DDoS threat on League about a month ago, and the hacker group said they would hit at Christmas?

Well Christmas is almost here, and the servers are going crazy. Coincidence, or possible start to the DDoS?

I don't understand why Hackers opposed to those disrupting their game don't goto war with other Hackers pulling some North Korea type shit and frying all their computers.
