Did Alistar get nerfed?

Did he get nerfed and I just missed it somewhere? I havent played him in awhile, but this last game... He felt so useless. Not tanky at all and ridiculous 10+ second cooldowns. Even the enemy support was tearing me open. If Riot is going to destroy their champs, why not just remove them and say "FUCK YOU".

Alistar has been that way for a very long time.

His abbilities are quite powerfull, so the cd is fine. You just have to position right, movespeed helps there.

He takes a lot of Tankyness from his ult and self heal, so build health and AP. and be carefull in between.

What the hell you're talking about. His latest nerf was the:

  • bonus damage on monsters with passive is remove
  • unable to autoattack while doing WQ combo, for the purpose of removing the OP Sheen build

**Not tanky at all **and ridiculous 10+ second cooldowns.

Uhh his ult now reduces 70% incoming damage instead of 50/60/70%, so tbh he is a little bit tankier.

Awhile back on the PBE his head it was changed to a skill shot, but that change never made it to live. Alistar is fine as is and has not received any nerfs lately.

That's not what happened at all. He didn't get nerfed, He actually got a visual update.

As for your experience, he didn't get nerfed, that is the sad result of him being left to become outdated. I mean, yes, a person can still play Alistar and they could get good results, I've gotten good results. And there's probably people who do well with Alistar. But to me, the unfortunate situation seems that Alistar is a champion you would have little reason to pick; It's seems that as a support, you could just pick another champion and get the same good results but with less effort.

But if anyone has positive ideas about him feel free to tell me; I would like to know.
