Rito why keep making champions more and more complicated

Gnar gets invited, and he is complicated to play, his fury bar, his different abilities in mega form, his weird ult ect.

Azir is next, he has all these sand warriors and stuff, starting with w only, his whole sand warrior thing, making so hard to play.

Then they make kalista, who has a weird passive, with her staring item binding her with the support and her weird working ult.

Then they make rek'sai, who has the whole burrow, unborrow thing, giving her a couple extra abilities and tunnels she can stradigicaly place to teleport to them.

And last but not least my guy bard who has this whole chime collecting thing, and the weird working tunnel on walls, and that ult that traps anyone in it, including allies, even turrets. The stun that works only when you hit the guy after a minion or close to a wall based on his angle and stuff.

And now you make ekko, who is has that weird ulti, nkt saying it ain't cool, and the boomerange that works oddly.

I mean i notice that you have been making champions very complicated lately, nothing like we have seen before, and i am not sure if that is a good thing or not. Then have missed a champion like lucian or kha zix or riven. Something simple and basic. And more than anything, credible!

Wait, Kha is "simple" when you have to choose 3/4 abilities to upgrade, and they change when upgraded, and his weird ult?

Complication also = depth. Depth is important for a champion because it's simply more interesting. I would much rather have a pool of complicated champions who are powerful if played correctly, rather than someone like Riven who can simply mash her face on the keyboard and get a pentakill.

Ekko's not really that weird. I think of him similar to Lux - mechanically not complex, but tactically has a lot of options (moreso than her, admittedly.)
