It to me resembles this champion so much. Its also been high in the Best threads on the Boards for months. A champion concept the Riot guys have been seeing for a while.

for me its a void event. the halloween is approaching and last year was Shadow Isles. in my opinion it is the a void event which will bring cho gath's, malzahar's and kogmaw's VU and a new champion. and the image is a portal to void but the thing in-game is too "happy" for a void event... i do hope is DhaMa though, its a gourgeous concept

There are some problems I see with your theory: 1.Of course there could be legal problems,they couldn't just release dhama like that,without running into legal trouble. But well it would be still possible for them to make a champ who is just similar to dhama in design,so I think that point doesn't say so much.

2.The only red post in that thread was made 3 months ago.Champions take longer to get created,it can take years until a champion gets finally released.

3.The biggest problem I have is: Why would they choose a symbol with different colors of blue?I mean if the whole Yin-yang-theme would be the core for the champion concept,then wouldn't black/white make much more sense?There is literally no reason why it should be different colors of blue.Yes the symbol looks a bit more black/white ingame but it is still clearly blue.

I doubt it. Champion's like that are in development a lot longer than 4 months. That's IF they started on it immediately after the post, which is extremely unlikely.
