Dear Junglers, an early blue buff for your mid laner goes a long way

Especially early game.

If the both mids are mana-based, you could say it's a test of skill and mana management.

But if it's Lux vs Yasuo, or Ahri vs Zed. Resourceless champs are made to overpower mana-based champs. This system is somewhat balanced because mana-based spells are far more impactful. Blue buff is a way to give your mana-based mages a fighting chance.

You just got to give up one or two blue buffs to your mid laner during laning phase. After that, you can have it for the rest of the game!

Junglers who hog blues either :

  1. Snowball hard and carry or
  2. Lose the game because the mid fell too far behind

Always wondered how those LCS mid laners have such high CS..item 3070Orianna

Generally the third, I'd say, depending on my jungle champion. If I'm playing Vi, I might give you the second if you're doing well in lane. As long as it's guaranteed you won't lose it in thirty seconds (had a mid who kept taking it, but I didn't get on his case, but he... didn't last long with a 0/9/X kda despite my help).

Keep in mind that AD scales slower than AP, so you can afford to build a little mana regen while Zed rushes damage. I know you guys gotta rush zhonyas, but it won't hurt too much (hopefully).

But if you want blue buff, here's how you do it:

  1. Don't die, prove you can play safely (you mentioned cs, so please focus on that).
  2. Ask.
  3. Watch as your jungler leashes the buff for you, instead of making you take it yourself and have to recall because low health because you chose to ask politely and give them time :D
  4. ???
  5. Destroy Zed.

Or my midlaner gets outplayed and gives immediate first blood, now the enemy midlaner has blue.

Don't forget about the CDR. Midlaner has minions to deal and block damage while you are typically able to poke and zone in lane. Junglers have no minion damage or meat shields, (aside from those with pets) so they have to boost their clear speed by spamming abilities as much as possible (oh yeah, and pets are likely abilities that cost mana).

Yeah blu helps the jungler a lot. Earn the blu with your actions cause ganks cost a lot of mana.

Do not use LCS as a reason to give you blu. They are way better than you.

How about we do it the other way around? I take the first and the second, and you take the rest. Deal?
