I almost 100% sure you will do better vs them if you do.

-Don't like playing against X champion? Play them, try them out for like 2-3 games, learn there play style, learn there CDS, learn how much damage they really do. Learn their weakness's (They do have them, no matter how ignorant you may be to them)

You will succeed A LOT more often if you do, I'm a Zed Main, by the community he's considered "OP" whether thats true or not, I have zero trouble playing against a Zed, with basically any mid lane champ, why? Because i know how he works, I know his damage out put, I know the CDS of skills, how fast they travel, when there up, what combos the Zed will do, etc.

I really, REALLY hate playing against Lux, I think she's bullshit, but ya know what? I started playing her more often, tried her out, and learned how she went about. Guess what? I did much better then next time I went against a Lux.

How do you main zed? he's that champion you can just pick for the first time and get fed. With all the bs items and masteries, you just have to use your E after ulting to kill their adc, sweetie. Long time ago he was a high skill champion, now I laugh when I think about it.

I got mastery 4 Zed and it doesn't make it any easier to play vs him. He's by far one of the easiest champions to do well with.

Idk it made is easier for me, and for several other champions.

Trying new champs and learning there strengths and weakness's. How does it not help?

Who are you talking about? This thread isn't about Zed, is about champions in general, that you can't deal with, my advice was to play with them, to learn how to deal with them. This has nothing to do with Zed, I just used him as a reference

Zed. But my point was that learning the champions you hate helps, but in some cases, like Zed, it feels like it makes no difference. Like you, I was just using him as a reference.

Mastery means nothing. Mastery 4 just means you played a mediocre amount of games. If all it took was getting mastery 4 to never lose to a champion again, this game would become too easy.

Okay, to all the people saying "Zeds not op". Youre right, hes not. He just has an insanely good laning phase and if he doesnt get fed in it he is useless mid and late game. HOWEVER, Zed is THE SOLE REASON that you cannot safely blind pick the vast majority of immobile mages such as Velkoz. If you pick Velkoz and they counterpick Zed, its not even a skill matchup, you just lose that lane. Its infuriating when one champion dominates the meta of for an entire role. The same goes for Nidalee in high elo. If she isnt banned in diamond+ and you pick something like Master Yi, you could single handedly lose your team the game due to how far behind she can put you. Also of course theres Fiora in top lane, and even arguably Ezreal and Lucian in ADC.

This is completely untrue for Fiora, her early - mid game isn't strong enough to crowd out other picks.

Bjergsen's stance on Zed y'know, when he was actually picked in LCS was "it's not impossible to win the game just because you're 10 CS behind Zed". Give it enough time and any mage will counter Zed. E.g. Velk can time his knock up when he gets ulted.

Idk about Nid, she can farm well but her teamfight is meh. I think a jungler like Yi, who needs to get really cheesy kills and/or farm for 15 minutes is the problem there.

Fiora is one of the best scaling champions in top lane right now. The only champ i could compare her to is Irelia, the only difference being Irelia has a free stun/slow while Fiora has a situational stun. Fiora is also far tankier, almost impossible to 1v1, is a tank buster who can also blow up squishies, provides sustain to her entire team if she gets her ult off, and cant be kited by probably 9/10 champions. Like, why would you pick Irelia over Fiora? Shes just way too dominant due to her scaling, and her early game isnt bad either.

I already explained Zed is kinda meh if he doesnt get fed, its just quite easy for him to do so.

And Nidalee doesnt fall off at any point in the game, shes just constantly powerful. She has the fastest clear in the game, and is terrifying in the early game with her mobility and pressure, and her sieging with her poke is insane. Her heal is also incredibly underated in team fights and skirmishes. Basically everyone in diamond+ agrees she is top 5 if not top 3 junglers, some even saying shes the single best solo que jungler in the game. If this isnt enough to convince you, she has a positive winrate right now, and when the champion is as difficult as Nidalee is, thats not something that should be happening.

Er, yes, that's what I said. Up to the point where she gets to 1.5 items, she's not that big a threat. E.g. Irelia on the other hand gets big spike after her first item.

Ofc Nid falls off late game, her spears aren't reliable, her heal (while useful for squishies) has a terrible scaling and her kit forces her to all-in you. With how many people struggle early in the jungle and given how well she can clear and pressure early, I'm not surprised her winrate is positive.

That's not true. I actually haven't had much trouble with Zed as a Vel'koz player. However, I did struggle immensely when I was against him as Veigar. At least during laning phase, Vel can farm from a safe distance, so as long as you play safe and the opponent isn't ridiculously good with him, things are actually in your favor. But if I'm against a Yasuo as Vel'koz its pretty much gg regardless of their skill level.

Well, in plat+ Vel'koz has a 44.53% winrate against Zed so...youre probably not facing good Zed players.

vel'koz probably isnt the best example. Anyone blind picking him is very likely used to how vel works and will absolutely delete a zed if zed is ever bold enough to ult him. Vel can E>Q>W>Ult while he either exhausted zed or will pop barrier if needed and will absolutely murder a zed as soon as he appears...because you know EXACTLY where zed will land. And if zed never ults vel he has almost no kill pressure on him and vel can farm pretty safely in the matchup.

Zed however can just roam against the vel'koz, because vel cannot follow him, and get fed off side lanes.

Zed wins against velkoz, but it isnt because of crushing laning phase.

Zed easily roams vs Vel and can put pressure on side lanes and junglers. Then mid-late game Zed can avoid the majority of what Vel is doing and just kill the adc or wait for vel to blow his E and murder him then. Vel cant keep all his cd's just for zed at that point so Zed gets way more freedom to deal with and assassinate Velkoz.

Well I played fizz (I mained him 1-2 months, but I haven't played him since he got nerfed) a few matches ago against Diana (my main for at least 7 months) and I destroyed her. And a few matches later I played Diana against fizz and went like 4 0 and 70 cs vs. 20 cs. It's pretty easy to win as or against fizz if you know how to play him

last time I played fizz I went 'nope' after I saw I could Q someone for 1500 damage and then have the W's missing health damage start to tick in... it was around mid season 3 i think...

Some people say that Soraka is cancer when I play against them. But like if I'm playing vs a Soraka, I'd go Sona; only poking with Q if they play aggro and building CDR/AP/resistances to outsustain her healing in teamfights. Knowing her kit inside and out, let meh come to the conclusion that she's no match for the buff maiden.

meh depends on how you want to play him. I found some builds that made it a joke playing with him, and then transitioned to his main build once I was comfortable with his mechanics.

Using your ult correctly is fckn annoying to get used to (time it off a really good thresh flay, it isnt as easy as some people made it look)

I do think item 3074item 3046 item 3078 item 3065 item 3143 item 1001 was by far my fave build I worked with though XD

I used to think Nasus was OP. Then I played him 50 games. I still think he's kinda bullshit but honestly not that good except as a counterpick.

Thing about Nasus is that even if you curbstomp him early on he´ll just rotate somewhere else and farm there.

Then all that sweet sweet owning you did to him now is being done to you, especially if he takes Grasp of the Undying.

You´re right about him not being good. Though i have been experimenting and TP/Exhaust doesn´t seem all that bad on him compared to TP/Flash.

I've noticed a lot of people will call a champion op because they refuse to learn how to play against them. I also gotta mention that Riot has two items that counter Zed, three if you include taking cleanse. It's like saying Malzahar is op but if you take away his ult then you take away his identity, which is what makes him the immobile ass mage his is. Thing is if Zed was SOOOOO op like people try to make him out to be then everyone would be playing him.

Similarly, I have mained lux basically since I started the game (~2 years ago). Whenever people complain about her i'm like... why how shes so easy to counter. I always had issues playing against Katarina, but than I started playing Katarina and now i'm almost level 5 with her, and rarely let her snowball in lane anymore.

ive been destroyed by zed as a full tank and ive destroyed full tanks, i dont have a problem with zed and rarely play him, im butthurt that other champs get nerfed for only being able to destroy squishy marksmen.

Tried playing Lee Sin back in the day before his E had attack speed reduction. Went 8/0 early game. And got fed without much effort. Just used my base damages and manaless jungle clear to my advantage. That just confirmed that Lee doesn't take skill that much.

I still hate Fizz with a passion the only champion i use for his counter isAkali. Diana Ekko Heimerdinger Zed Yasuo die like flies against my middle main Akali. Only champs that i have trouble with are Xerath Velkoz
