If you say "ez" after a game I'm reporting you
I don't care if it's a joke.
I don't care if you lost horribly and you're being facetious.
It's poor sportsmanship so I'm reporting you for negative attitude, and I encourage you all to do the same.

What if the other team had an Ezreal and I think he played well so i said "GG EZ" ??
The way I see it, saying GGEZ (with no ezreal on either team) is the same as saying "You guys suck." after a hockey game instead of shaking hands with the opponents. If someone says a game was easy, jokingly or not, it's poor sportsmanship and I will usually report them as soon as the message pops up in post game chat.

The best is when they say "ez" after a 4 v. 5.
I do agree it is poor sportsmanship to say stuff like "EZ, Get Rekt, lolololol," etc.. after a game. People should just be good sports and say gg or ggwp regardless of how badly the other team lost. Show some compassion to the team you just beat and be a good sport about it people.
Now isn't that so much nicer of a way to say what you were trying to get through rather than raging and screaming about reporting people?
You're playing a video game, not participating in the Olympics. Reporting absolutely everyone who says a specific phrase like that, regardless of context, is just absurd. I say shit like that all the time when I lose ("close game" comes to mind). It's just a joke, and usually it's very clear that it's a joke since I chat a lot in-game and I at least hope I don't come across as the type of jackass who would genuinely mean it.
If you get some try-hard asshole who flames his teammates and trash-talks the enemy the entire game, and in post-game chat he says "ez," then go ahead. Report 'em. If it's someone who's just being facetious, then fuck off and get a sense of humor.
If I happen to see you in a match, I'm saying it. I don't even care if it's a 2 hour long, arduous game that the winions decide to end, I will say it. Seeing how you have treated others in this thread, I would gladly take your report to reduce your report weight. I've never gotten banned, and honestly I doubt I will considering that I don't really rage or anything.
But just to hurt your report weight, I would say it.
I don't care if it is meant as a joke, if you won and say GG EZ, you're a douch, that's not fun it's just of plain taste and I will probably report you. (losing and saying it is another story entirely) Do I expect a ban? No. Do I think, if that guy is being a douch other time hopefully he will get a CR? Of course I do.
That's the kind of thing to say in games that makes you look like a douch, at least if you want to belittle someone do it with pride and go for something original, I don't know like: "It was a fun walk in the park guys GG had fun." seems a lot more funny/less annoying.
Um, I just keep all chat turned off, Why don't other people do this? I felt weight lifted off of me not having to read whatever garbage the enemy wants to share with me, it became easier to focus, and I don't get enraged listening to some 2/13/5 jackass tell me how ez the game was.
Seriously, Saw a lilypichu video, she was asked to give any tips and that was her tip, to turn all chat off, and its been a game changer for me.

I'd punish.
If you lost horribly and you say Ez, then that is not worthy of a report because it is SO obviously a joke that only a dumbass like you would ever report anyone who says it in that context. Like, what an idiot.
We really need an "unsportsmanlike conduct" report feature.
If you actually report every single person who says ggez after a game, don't your reports mean nothing now? I mean, I'm sure a majority of them don't actually get punished, especially if that's the only toxic thing they said.
Agree I don't care if it's not technically illegal it's still douchey.
You don't think you might be overreacting? Especially if they're being sarcastic. Not to mention, if Riot doesn't feel the same way, you might very well be banned for false reporting, which has happened before, mind you.
I don't think I completely understand the logic behind taking this negatively. They almost definitely mean nothing mean spirited or negative by it, and if they do then they likely have done something worse that that to warrant a report. And personally, I find it entertaining in certain situations. This entire thread is silly to me.
I don't say anything in this game anymore. People report for everything and I'm not giving them the satisfaction of reporting me so they feel cool.
I always find it funny that the one who say it most are those who win games against a team that is down at least one player
: oh man that was a shit game, their botlane destroyed us!!! oh well GG, Ez!
: REPORTED
IM AUSTRALIAN
I assure you, I have much worse things to say than that.
I've been perma-banned eight going on nine times for infamous lines such as "ha", "foo", ":D", or "lasers OP" (I play
).
Occasionally I just stop caring and go all out and say "ya got whooped". This usually leads to me getting banned so badly that I have to make two new accounts to get past the perma-ban.
It's too fun and I'll never learn.
It amazes me that you have the nerve to call people immature for reporting you when you immaturely say "gg ez" after you win.
Act like a child, get tattled on like a child.
I already do report these people. But between this and all the actual horrible things people say, I'm beginning to realize it's pointless. There is no punishment for these people. Riot doesn't care how disgusting the behavior is.
Thats really lame actualy, i consider myself a verry friendly player whenever i notice team mates are hating on eachother i try and stick up for them tell them its alright they might be counterd its just a game its alright to lose
yet bullying the other team a bit is a aspect of compettition to make them lose their focus... Im from europe and soccer us the biggest sports is soccer eveb in the world tournaments when penaltys are being taken there are some keepers who walk into the player taking the penalty and intimidate them telling them they know where they are going to shoot to theres no way they are going to score these are profesional atletes
The counter to this is dont fucking give a fuck, dont be but hurt that easily ezz when the game is done is indeed a bit lame because theres no advantage to gain but kicking someone whos already down its not something id do myself but being buthurt about it seems even worse lol
i still think some intimidation is part of anny lvl game like taking blue from a blue depended jg and telling him good luck clearing
or taking a buff while there on it telling them thx for the leash its pvp its not your responsebility that the other team doesnt rage quit
if it was you should be auto banned for picking lane bullys like
what does 'EZ' mean? I think I have an idea, but I don't know all the LoL lingo
Is it a poor way to spell Easy? as in 'That was Easy'? or does it have something to do Ezreal?
