Do other games like Hots/dota/overwatch have blatantly OP champs like league ?

League always has couple of champs that are just broken and shit to play against and every single season is like this. It's somewhat understandable when you have 100+ champs, but still... I never played these other 3 games, but I was just wondering if their state of OP champs is the same ?

Well Dota has champion who does 4x crit damage and there is item that makes ypu immune to all abilities. Imagine Master Yi with olafs ulti. Then there is champ with permanent invisibility. Champ who can attack while invisible. Champ that has invisibility + max move speed every 3 sec. Champ that swaps hp (he is 30% hp you are full, he ultis u he gets full you get to 30% hp). Then most champs have point click abilities. So yes, other games have champs that are perceived as op

No one is op if everyone is op !

Dota has a lot stronger champs. They also don't have an absurd hatred of auras on items, champs, and skills as well as actually allowing healers to heal. No idea on hots and I would assume overwatch tries its best to balance stuff out because it always seems like someone is getting nerfed when I hear about that game.

League has removed to many of items nobs and levers for balance and limited itself on what can be balanced.

Overwatch has no items, they have a different approach for balance. The champion pool is much smaller, but each champion has a unique role, great strengths and exploitable weaknesses. You can also change your champion to adapt the game (although you loose the charge on the super ability).

Riot does not want to balance the game they shift power all time to make the game "fresh". This is bad for those who likes certain champions, but good for those who can play with any of them. In this game champions are like items you use them because they are op in the current meta.

Every game has things that are to powerful and things that are not powerful enough.

This FPS games like CoD4, The M16. MP5, RPD, and M40 are each the most powerful gun of their classes and get the most uses.

Diablo 2, had a different way of patching and stuff but each "Season" a different Hero Build was the best for different things.

Somebody else commented that "nobody is OP if everybody is OP" and I feel like league has that going. Some champs need "Balance" but I don't think nerfing everything is always the answer. I played a FPS/MOBA "Paragon" and there was this tanky dude whose ult made him huge and gave him like 350 heath regen per second. That grossly OP ult gave him so much identity. He could tower dive so good and he was OP but I think making other champs stonger would have been cool because gutting him killed him in a game that only had like 12 champs.
