When using an emote your champion commits to the entire emote and it cannot be canceled... or give us the option to mute emotes. I had a Garen in my last game spam his taunt all game. It never stopped. Even in teamfights he was spamming it. I actually wanted Garen to die in game just so it would stop... and he was my teammate.
Deep Terror Nami1 votesMuting a player will silence their emotes. I've tested and recorded it before as proof and even had to use it yesterday (so I know it still works). If it isn't working, it is a bug and needs to be reported. Keep in mind that not every sound will mute though.
