When are we getting a new female support?

Sorry to sound like the typical eGirl support main, but the last female support we got was Nami in 2012. The last 5 supports have all been guys (Rakan, Bard, Tahmmy Pickles, Braum, and Thresh).

I wouldn't call Bard male. After all he doesn't have human characteristics and not even a male voice,so he is pretty genderless(and just referred to as a "he" because "it" is only used for objects)

Anyway, the reason for the lack of new female supports is likely because the support class was in the past almost exclusively made of female champs,so Riot likely wanted to introduce some more male supports to even it out.

In fact, as of the release of Rakan there are now more male (true) supports than female (according to client tags, and discounting Nunu and Ivern, neither of which are often played in the traditional bot lane support role). This holds true even if you add in the off-supports, Blitzcrank, Morgana and Zyra. Not sure what to think about this.

We need more female junglers to match the influx of male supports

Kayn could have easily been a female ( doesn't even need a name change)

Raast possession could have looked like female diablo
