I have come to suspect that riot intentionally screws certain champs up while buffing other on purpose.

The don't like to have a huge champion pool that is viable at the same time and the reason is probably the LCS.

When you think about it what would be the point of having any bans if there were 10 op midlaners , 10 op junglers, 10 op top laners and so on...

They want the LCS to look very 'serious' they like it to be predictable so it's more competitive. You ban reksai they pick nidalle,vi or jarvan, you ban jarvan and they pick reksai, nidalle or vi. You ban nidalle and they pick jarvan, vi, reksai. That is the whole point of bans, why ban any jungler if ppl played voliber, pantheon, rengar, nocturne and so on. They just want the pick and ban phase to be high importance and thus keep a limited champion pool.

Maybe this is totally wrong, it's just how i feel atm, what do you think?

I think you have the right concept, but you're drawing the wrong conclusions from it.

The goal - and I'm not saying they've succeeded, as they're obviously still struggling with it - is to minimize the number of OP or UP champs. I think, however, that on the whole they'd rather champs be slightly undertuned than risk them being too dominant - thus the heavy changes to Veigar and Kassadin, and the quick, cautious scaling back on those changes.
