The game isn't bad. The boards are just an outlet for people to whine. Riot makes questionable balance decisions all the time but it's never as bad as the boards makes it out to be.
One second AD is broken beyond belief, then AP is broken beyond belief. One second Assassins are useless and the next second assassins need to be gutted. One second ranged AP burst is healthy for the game for "reasons" and the next second ranged AP burst is unhealthy for the game for "reasons".
In all my time playing this game i have never really felt like quitting because of balance, riot's decisions, or the state the game is in. I have only wanted to quit because of the community.
Welcome to the gameplay forum, the place few people with an actual brain respect because all it takes to get 100+ upvotes is a "Why does Yasuo ult move you out of turret range" or "Why does lee kick stun you in cast time when it doesnt stun him" or w/e the boards hates this time thread that you took less than 1 minute to make.
the amount of complaining is warranted. league has been going steadily downhill over the past 3 yrs
The start of this season was REALLY bad but now its oke. Things are still a little of balance but not that much more than other seasons. I guess it will be good again by world patch and that ap jugnle and tank jugnle will be playable again.
the most vocal people are always the people who are pissed off. That's why whenever you look at the boards it's always bitching. My favorite was always urf or one for all and all those game modes. Whenever urf was around all you'd ever see was people bitching about how urf was over rated, but whenever it wasn't you'd get people bitching that the game modes weren't around enough.
What the hell, this isn't even remotely true. Just look at the Gameplay hot page, people are complaining about each other in all those Vladimir threads (they generally hate on "sheeps" rather than Riot), the Nunu discussion is still at the top (which again isn't about a balance issue), several random topics are also huge (toplane best lane, sightstone discussion, complaint about people being too stupid at playing with a tank) and the occasional damage creep thread that has been ongoing since season 4.
This is NOTHING compared to the times where the as item was op (devourer, ff, whatever they were called) or when Riven was actually OP or when Caitlyn was even more annoying or when Vayne was actually meta or when..
As of right now people aren't really that enthusiastic about hating on Lethality even the Yasuo haters are getting half-hearted. Also, people ALWAYS hated on Riot even back when the boards didn't even exist so lurk more

No, its not that bad, people are just really whiny and really entitled.
Memers only say one thing once. balance complaints are repeated a dozen times.
People are running out of ideas to make a clever meme about. You can complain about anything in the game.

The game right now is in the worst, most unfun state it has ever been. League of Oneshot-then-Snowball is the current name of the game and it's shit.
Boards as a whole are pretty bipolar as far as consensus goes.
It's because it seems riot employees are smoking some good stuff recently, and we are not complaining because we are jealous...
It is a mixture of "bad" and perceived bad things because of overall frustration.
It isn't THAT bad, but it isn't exactly good either.
