POST MORE DUNKEY. PEOPLE NEED TO KNOW THIS, AND RECOGNIZE THE ISSUES WITH LEAGUE. MAYBE, FINALLY. IF WE MAKE A BIG ENOUGH OF A STINT WE CAN MAKE RIOT LISTEN. STOP POSTING ABOUT BALANCE WHEN YOU HAVE AN OPPURTUNITY TO HELP SAVE THIS GAME

EDIT: do the downvotes show that nobody gives a fuck about this game that impacts 70 million people and has the potential to be great? Or are they actually going to put their hands over their ears and yell at dunkey. I think he deserved a chat restriction, maybe a day ban. But in the end of the day, EVE IF HE'S FUCKING HITLER, his points are still valid. Don't use ad hominem attacks

Well, then i guess all the times that you said "lol" you were actually laughing, or all the times you were a kid and said girls have cooties you were serious, and every insult you have ever said to someone ever is true

Ergo, if i call someone a, for example, "fucking dickhead asshole bitch ass motherfucker" because they, for example, cut me off in traffic (this is not true, just an example), that makes me the world's most horrible person

Yeah I heard he got pretty messed up in jail too, with concussions and some kinky stuff.

I guess he shouldn't have said what he did, particularly in the wake of so many mass shootings, especially Sandy Hook which was pretty much the same thing as what he was proposing.

Saying to someone "I'm going to kill you" is a threat, where saying "you should die" is toxic. Now re-read Justin's comments and see if you can discern which it was.

First of all, let me point out, "some kinky stuff" is not inherently bad (if he's not into it it is)

Just gotta say that

secondly, the point still stands - he made a bi mistake, but he did/does not deserve jail time

The problem is that with many of these mass shootings there were warning signs, i.e. people saying they were going to do stuff and others not taking them seriously, like that Dylann Roof guy who specifically threatened a mass shooting a week before he did it.

The police can't really ignore threats like that anymore, even a completely illogical target like a kindergarten, well it's been done, so it it within the realm of possibility to the untrained eye that this guy could be serious. Causing a panic is illegal just as much as actually planning to follow through, hence why you can't say you have a bomb on a plane even if you don't have one and ostensibly would cause no real threat.

He also said it in public, which is why a Canadian woman he didn't even know reported it, it wasn't some idle chatter with someone who knew he wasn't serious, but again, the Dylann Roof guy.

Basically there is no legitimate reason to say what he did unless you specifically wanted to freak people out.

riot doesn't have the power to do this. all they did was ban him from their game. Riot did not report Justin Carter's post to the police. a concerned Cannadian woman did. this was a few months after the sandy hook elementary shooting. It was a case of too soon and the nation flipping their lid off of something they didn't understand.
