Why does people care about champion sexuality on LoL?
Jesus , how does it matter if a champion is gay or not? Would change anything in your life if riot suddenly says any champion is gay or not? Goddamit this is a game, not real life.

They don't, they just think it makes them sound cultured and complex. Same reason why their posts on those threads need tables of contents :P
But even in real life, why should anyone else than your partner and your doctor knw anything about your sexuality?
