Are we not going to talk about Riot's compulsive liar problem?
Seriously guys, I think they need help.
Now, I didn't realize this until recently, but what was the reason that they nuked the lore, wiped the IoW, rewrote everything we loved, and stopped the JoJ?
"Because writing characters is hard?"
No...Well, yes but Riot claimed there was another reason.
"Because they didn't want the lore to effect the game, like with WW killing Soraka."

So, because of this problem, which could've easily been remedied with some clever writing, and/or clever audience events, (either have character development with WW getting over himself and being happy with his curse (new skin), or pit the two against each other in some One for All style matches, winner lives, gets a new skin, loser dies, and is deleted. (and you give those who own Soraka their RP back for skins.) (This also has the added benefit of deleting champs you don't like anymore, making more space for new champs with new kits, without pissing off their fanbase to bad by completely redesigning every aspect of them , and forcing this new champion on them, because, whoops, no refunds for changed champs (Fiora)) or something.) Riot decided that they'd just burn everything we knew and loved about the setting, and declare the "game" non-canon. Declared that Story and game where competly separated, and would never cross...
Isn't that right, Gangplank? "Dead" and disabled for over a week, and now with a newer, far uglier model that feels ripped off from two other sources? And why? Oh yes, Lore...
"But, that is changing and effecting the game because of Lore..." Correct! Which makes Riot, a bunch of liars...
So, the Garen Rework is announced. I don't play Garen. I don't like Garen. In fact, I hate Demacians, with one exception. But, I'm told that people flocked to Riot, begging them not to touch the silence.
"Please!" They cried. "We love it! It's what makes Garen, Garen!"
"Worry not!" Said Riot. 'We'd never destroy what makes champs who they are!" Now here we are...With a gutted Silence, a slow on Garens signature stun, the removal of his tenacity, and a whole load of nerfs that turn this big, hulking knight...into an AD bruiser...
This seems unwise...
Wasn't Garen's character a warrior dedicated to what he thought was Justice, who would never, ever quit, no matter what got in his way? Best shown in game with a tanky warrior who wouldn't be out run, and could shrug off stuns. So, now, we make him a hard hitting warrior who can be stunned and slowed by anyone with the remotest amount of mobility and CC. This is no longer Garen.
I'm furious with a lot of Riot's changes, especially to my main bug Skarner. From his multiple devastating nerfs, to this current rework making him a troll pick, to the utter nuking of his lore...But, fine. They can rip me off and change the product I purchased from them...Even though I think that's illegal as fuck.
I don't know about the rest of you, but I HATE being lied to.
