Just won a match because enemy adc failed to connect

Sad part is, the enemy team was clearly better. Their mid lane shit on mine and their support was better than mine. Sure, the adc eventually connected but we were level 9 by then. That is a very significant amount of time.

So... why do matches start if someone hasn't connected? Why am I complaining about a free win? Because I have been on the other side and it fucking sucks. We should not have won. The better players should win. The enemy team was bitching in all chat and I don't blame them. Riot's game should not start if someone fails to connect. After a few minutes just drop the game and restart the queue.

Matches are start with the "fail safe" Riot implemented that if you disconnect or are unable to connect at the end of the lobby, the game will be disbanded. However I believe Riot views the game in a "fun for almost / everyone" aspect of view, where they will let the majority of the players be happy with what they have, and waiting 15 minutes in the initial loading screen would start a small... Riot. Haha. But even if there team is better, they will eventually rise or lower to the rank they deserve, so one or many matches will rarely be a problem.
