I really just don't understand how this game is even remotely fair.

... I just really don't get it. Riot tries to tell us they want every champion to be viable and all that, but that couldn't be farther from the truth.

Right now, some champions are vastly superior to others.

(Right now, people like Lee, Vayne, and so on are above even Devourer jungles, yet get buffed anyway?)

  • On the top of the list, we have Devourer junglers. If you get into a fight with any of them, you're just about guaranteed dead, and the ONLY way to fight them is to CC lock them into infinity (which is NOT counterplay, it's a cop out).

  • Below Devourer jungles, we have bruisers. Riven, Vi, Shyvana, Jax, and so on. They, quite literally, right click you for most of their damage, but for some reason they can instantly kill you while having maybe one or two AD items.

  • Next we have ADCs. They don't do anything but right click you (and do so from range) and maybe use an ability or two (most of these just augment their right-cicking), yet instantly kill anyone who isn't a super tank (and even then, it only takes a couple seconds, if that).

  • After that, we have tanks. Building 150+ armor and MR, they're near invincible (as well as having 3-4k+ HP), yet, with ONE SINGLE AD ITEM they can do more damage than half the roster, and just about instantly kill anyone who isn't also a tank or bruiser.

  • Next, we have mages that have targeted abilities. Where normal mages have to aim their abilities (and often do far, far less damage for actually landing them), these ones just click on you and laugh as you explode in a ball of fire or whatever they shoot out of their hand.

  • AD assassins are tied with clicker mages, because they oftentimes can just roll their face in your general direction and instantly destroy anyone who isn't a super tank. Again with targeted abilities more often than not.

  • In last place, we have mechanics-heavy and skillshot-based champs. Most of their damage is easily avoidable and/or counterable, and they actually have to aim, but they do the lowest damage in the game, and often just pale in every respect when compared to their targeted counterparts.

So, remind me again, why are the easiest champions the strongest? Why are auto attacks and targeted abilities far more damaging than skillshots and hard mechanics? I just really don't understand how it's "fair" or "balanced" that people who put in far less effort are far better rewarded than someone who plays a champ like Azir, Eve, Nidalee, Jayce, Gnar and so on.

Whoever's in charge of balance, can you tell me why you chose to make the easiest champions (who just AUTO attack people) the strongest? How is it fair that someone like Yi or Vayne can go in and 5v1 and win, all because they right-click people, while someone like Azir, who has to actually think about what he's doing, has trouble fighting even one or two people, and gets nerfed repeatedly? I just really don't understand your design logic. Do you actually want to balance the game, or do you just want to make the lazy kiddies happy because they can win with minimal effort (meaning they're more likely to throw money at you)? I'm kind of inclined to believe the second. : /

TL;DR: Just read -- it's good for you.
