Why should I continue to play League of Legends?
It's fun and enjoyable. I've never had so much fun with a game before.
Its a waist of time, though. You have more you need to do. School work, job, priorities like food and past promises.
But, League is so cool. Each Champion has a story of his or her own. They all are just or were normal people who are very talented at what they do. Then there is this epic story that unfolds in their world of Rune Terra, and the stories from the Institute of War.
The Institute isn't there anymore. In fact, all stories from League have been dulled, or will. Most of the interesting ones are, anyway. The whole story of Runeterra is gone. All it is now, are just pages of a unfinished book.
Well, the game is still fun.
Minus the constant time spent in front of a computer. There are also mean and rude people on League, but lets get to the most annoying feature; the META. Unless you are with the crowd in LoL, you are just a new player (noob) that should just quit while you can.
I meant the characters. They each are individually powerful and can be fun to play.
Yeah, but some are better than others. Some can even do certain tricks to avoid you or just insta-kill you. Then there is the balancing. Some Champions that are hardly used are either nerfed or just left alone while some of the popular champions get a compensation or buffs. Not much is fair. Even new Champions come out as some of the most unfair of all.
Well, there are other things I can do.
Like what? Watch the LCS? It cost money to do that, no matter what you do. And its expensive.
No, I meant I could play in different areas, like Dominion, Aram, and Twisted Treeline.
Oh, the places in LoL that they never really try to give anything to. Sure they are fun, but I've never seen them really talked about. They are fun to play, every once in a while, but due to lack of what is possible, they can get old fast. Twisted Treeline is a lot like Summoner's Rift but smaller and oddly made. The time it takes to get the Nexus is very short due to the 1 guarding statue. Crystal Scar doesn't do much for buffs, can't each area give a small buff? Like have a stone in the back and you go and retrieve the stone for the 2-3 minute buff. Aram is amazing when it comes to getting out of your comfort zone but its random feature needs to be more random. You get a majority of the same characters again.
They're still fun. I also like the skins in the game. Though they can be pricy.
They are not worth it. The cheapest skins are $3 (390 RP), yet all they do is change the look of the character. Then we look at them in order; $4 (520 RP), $5.77 (750 RP), $7.5 (975 RP), $10.38 (1350 RP), $14 (1820 RP), $25 (3250 RP). The cheapest they can get is to $2 (260 RP). They aren't even at a $1's worth on sale, and all they do is make a champion have a small difference in his or her appearance. I must say that since 520 RP skins are like 750 RP skins, the 520 RP skins are better. But for over $5, I would think that I would get more than just a new look. At least some particles. Also, some of the 975RP and 1350 RP skins do not have what they need to be 975 RP or 1350 RP skins, like particles, new sounds, or a recall animation. These are $7 - $10 skins Riot. Now, why do you jump from $7 to $10 to $14 to all the way to $25 for an ultimate skin? Shouldn't they just be around $19 to complete the pattern. Why go from +5 to +11 more dollars?
Whoa! Hold it. Who said I was going to even buy anything? Sure, these prices are crazy high for an in game purchase but they do need the money. Anyway, sure the game has lost a few things here and there, at least they care about us.
Yeah. They care about us. But, when will see the needed feedback so we can understand why they do things that make us angry? Takings away certain passives, abilities, power, items, etc. They're not doing much also with the new stuff they bring. It seems to just make things harder for the players.
Okay, okay. Maybe I'll just play some other game from Riot while I wait for them to sort out what's going on.
... You do that.
