A Lesson I Just Sort of Realized About These Boards...

Most of you have already figured this out for yourself, but I for one only just figured this out. If you want your post to be actually acknowledged by any moderately large number of people, you basically have to do these things:

1. Complain about Lee Sin or something. That is sure to get you noticed by a lot of people, and you are really likely to get the front page for more than a day. These are the most common I see here on the boards.
2. Show something you made, like a drawing or something like that. Now, I don't hate people who draw really good pictures, not at all. I quite respect them in fact. But my main issue is that it really pulls attention away from others who are trying to make something, like a piece of hand-made lore that they are proud of, and those basically get to sit and rot. Hoping that one day, somebody will find them.
3. Put a "funny" joke up on the boards that has to do with a champion who is "unbalanced" in your eyes, or making a joke about a champion's personality in the League. Now, I will have to admit that some of these are fucking hilarious. Nevermind, scratch this one. I actually like these.

Now, what does this really mean for all of you reading? Well, it means that if you just lost super hard to a Lee Sin, or a Zed, or something else like that, try to think rationally about it and don't post a huge rant about it. And if you made some art that is real good and you want to share it, go ahead! Just try to save the super good ones for the boards, and not EVERY piece you make. They might all be good, but you have to let others get noticed. Now, why did I make this? Well, I'm trying to speak up and raise awareness for the people who write really good stories, or put a lot of effort into a champion concept, and never get noticed. I didn't realize just how lucky I was that a story I wrote, called "A Day in the Life of a Noxian Soldier" actually got noticed, and even had the front page for an entire day. So please. If you can manage it, let some lesser known subjects get the front page. I know I, and the rest of the people who work hard but don't really get noticed, will greatly appreciate it.
